My dad was scheduled to get his iPhone on the 5th of October, but his ended up coming in tonight. Guess it's pretty unpredictable and it could be coming in sooner than we think.
Some people just buy it because it has apple stamped on it. My brother just got his iphone 5 today and my SGIII is obviously the better phone.
Just because a phone is better doesn't mean people shouldn't or are wrong to buy other phones. It's all a matter of preference.
Loving my new iPhone. The screen quality is noticeably better than my iPhone 4. Wasn't expecting that. Oh, and LTE is amazing.
A coworker of mine has the new Samsung, and it's freaking huge. Too big in her opinion (and I agree). I'm still very happy with my 4 but I am tempted to get a 5 since my contract is up. I like iOS better, I've already got tons of great apps, and I know it will work seamlessly with my direct tv, apple tv and whole home streaming.
I was strongly considering switching from the iPhone but ended up sticking with the iPhone 5. I've invested a lot in apps and music through iTunes and the App Store and the phone does everything I need from work and school email to mobile Internet. I'm happy with it. I didn't pick it just because it has apple, my friend actually has the SIII and it looks awesome but the money I've invested in Apple plus the familiarity of how the phone works made me choose sticking with it. BTW, anybody had issues with the Passbook app? I can't get it to connect to App Store. I tried the fix where you go in and switch the year but that didn't work for me.
You have to download apps that support passbook for it to be active. I tried it this morning on my girlfriends phone with the united airlines app.
Apple customers are like a cult. You could make a turd with a signal and they would buy it. Hell I'm about to go get one and sell it cause I know people will pay outrageous prices for it, and just pay cash for a new phone. Or maybe I should get this S3 everyone is talking about?
I don't get the point of getting an upgrade from my current phone until I don't see a evolutionary functionality change. At this point my phone can accomplish what any other phone can in the market. Also kinda funny how people get attached to corporations when all they want is the cash in your pocket. Apple fans are the worst...
I didn't ask what it cost. I can either get the S3, or get the IPhone 5, sell it, and buy a phone off craigslist for $150 bucks.

Why do people care what phones other people like/buy? Just get what you want and be happy with it. There is no need to defend Apple/Samsung like your Tyrion Lannister defending Kings Landing
