Mayweather would have to fight more cautious than the cotto fight, but I think he would still be favored.

Mayweather is OLDER, and Canelo is young and full of energy

if he was the favored, it wouldnt be by those wide-odds we are used to seeing in past Mayweather fights..

It would be a great fight for sure. I'd give him the best shot of taking down Mayweather. Hope it happens.

Where did you hear this? Because from what I've heard, the plan is to put Cotto vs Canelo if Cotto gets past Trout. And I don't know why Floyd would want to stay at 154. Its not like he's a big WW by any stretch.

Hold up, wasn't Chavez forced to fight Martinez, due to Sergio being stripped of his belt for chavez???

Fully agreed, the 100k knock out incentive did the trick. All the showtime fights were better than Top rank PPV.

I'd like to a see a rematch, both of those fights were great. Luckily we found a bar that was showing both at the same time.

You don't think he can beat Canelo? Lol get off the crack. If you know boxing,
which I'm sure you do, than you know Floyd's defense/counter would make this fight an easy win for him.

Canelo could punch a hole in Mayweather's chest!

Even if he guards his heat Canelo's power will blast through his gloves.

Ignorant mayweather hater. Has never lost a fight, routinely beats better fighters and you expect the 21 year old to come
out of the woodshed and punch holes in the best defensive fighter ever. Alvarez is just like every other up and coming Hispanic fighter, the next "great hope". He may be able to beat Mayweather in 10 years, but not now.

Just got done watching, glad I didn't catch any spoilers. Fantastic fight, Chavez Jr. was incredibly frustrating to watch though.(from 1-11) Martinez looked a lot younger than 37.

It's actually his first for Pot but second for a banned substance.

Explains a lot now. Waking up at 6pm in pink underwear, The slow start, late finish, the massive weight gain aft the weigh ins and of course, it helps ease the pain!

It looks like JCC Jr. and Nick Diaz got something in common. There's no shame in getting high.

Lol at anyone who thinks Canelo would have any shot at beating Mayweather. He'd be lucky to win three rounds (legitimately not bull**** judging). Martinez is a much bigger threat. He's an ackward fighter who can could hurt Floyd. Laras is Mayweather's biggest threat. He beats Canelo and Manny easy and gives Floyd one hell of a scare. Too bad none of those guys wil fight him

I appreciate skilled boxing and I like that type of fight as much or more than slugfests. That said, when two guys give it their all I like those fights as well, but they aren't the only wins I care about, is what I am saying.
