If I remember correctly, no, I think they were about 75 yards away from their endzone. Coughlin knows better than me, having had to deal with Tiki, but you'd think benching someone for a fumble, especially a rookie, might cause some psychological problems and lead to more fumbles. There's probably a science to it.

Hawkins looks like a good start, but so is Pettigrew against that awful Tennessee D. In fact, start Pettigrew. Titans currently giving up by far the most points to tight ends and got destroyed by a 3rd string guy last week.

He was also rather ineffective in week two when he was given the ball (less than 2ypc I think), and I didn't watch the game but I think I saw a snippet saying he nearly fumbled again. He'll eventually get going, but I think he's a guy you just stash away at the end of your bench until he proves he's worth a flex start.

Only an idiot benches the guy leading the NFL in targets and receiving yards, and happened to be a pro bowler last year. Right now he'd be my 2nd highest rated fantasy receiver behind Calvin Johnson.

Got offered D. Jackson and D .Murray for Spiller. Since Spiller is a temporary starter, should I accept the offer?

I don't know how deep your team is. But I would strongly consider this.

I'll say yes, but I'm not sure how temporary it will be. Murray was only temporary as well, and you see what happened. They can't keep Spiller off the field the way he has played without Fred Jackson.

That's true. I have a surplus of rbs though. Spiller, Reggie and Michael Bush, Run DMC, and J. Charles. I'm in a yahoo league where it's just 2 rbs to play.

I'd definitely make the trade, since the Spiller situation is up in the air, and Murray has the potential to be every bit the value Spiller is, and DJax is just a bonus. I just wanted to point out that Spiller should maintain some fantasy value even when/if Fred Jackson comes back.

    Denarius Moore

Titans can't open holes for CJ, and CJ can't get the ball in space.

Bench CJ401K until further notice. Start Moore this week - matchup just got more favorable with Polamalu out, and Dwyer is in a timeshare with two other guys.

Do it ... sounds like you could probably use the WR upgrade, and no, the situation is not the same as Murray-Jones last year. Fred Jackson is a legit every week starter, while Felix Jones has never been more than a 3rd down guy with housebreaking potential. CJ Spiller's value will certainly go down when Jackson returns. Sell high.

What kind of league is this? Either it is really shallow or the rest of your league is grossly incompetent.

Felix Jones was a decent back, just injury prone.

Fred Jackson is 31 years old coming off a broken leg and now an injured knee has never had over 250 carries in a season, broke 1,000 yards once and has a career high of 7TDs in a season.

In 8 games since Fred Jackson was injured, CJ Spiller has 8TDs 115 carries for 738 yards and 29 receptions for 259 yards.

Fred Jackson was having a great season last year, but that was last year. I think they will resemble Charles/Jones in KC a couple of years ago.

Saying all that, if there is one thing to know about Fred Jackson, it is that you should never count him out. Here's a guy that was a 3rd string RB at his High School.

    Stevan Ridley @ Bal
    C Johnson v Det

I'd typically take Ridley since Johnson hasn't done crap yet this season, but Baltimore is gonna be tougher than Detroit... Although they allowed about 90 yards and 1 td rushing to mccoy and green ellis.

Week 1, Cruz 6 catches 58 yards. You cant just look at totals but gotta go week by week and the competition.

I can bench Cruz if my alternatives are DeMariyus Thomas (best WR so far in Fantasy), Antonio Brown (At weakass Oakland) and Dwyane Bowe (whos playing New Orleans weak D)

I can roll with the big guns but if there are reasonable alternatives I will consider benching a stud if gut feeling of a bad night awaits.
