I'm not a liberal, I don't "love" Obama whatsoever, but I cannot wait to vote for him to cancel out my parents vote for Mitt. There is no chance in hell I would vote for such an arrogant, clueless twit.

Who is ignoring anything? Bush isn't our president any longer, but you keep on blaming him. And 10% down to 8% isn't really all that dramatic if an improvement.

and 8% is a very misleading unemployment number since the labor participation rate is the lowest it's been in 30 years

Were you planning to vote twice to cancel out your parents vote?

True, but you don't hear this number as much, so I don't really know what it stands at today and didn't cite it. The bottom line is that Obama has been in office long enough to affect change and own these numbers.

Bush's incompetency will haunt this nation for decades. There is no statute of limitations on destroying an economy.

Just like what Obama is doing will help us for years down the line, assuming some idiot Republican doesn't come destroy everything again.

    I agree.

The media controls the messaging you hear, and they are mostly liberals. The media's control of public opinion is at a very dangerous level.

Here's a fun exercise: name some substantive ways in which the Romney/Ryan economic agenda differs from Bush's. Bonus points if the numbers involved have actually been shown to add up.

Just count the number of threads started by the neocons on this board
and see how they like to complain about not being being heard or that the
liberla media elite is is trying to drown them out or to influence the public's
    opinion.

Hypocrisy at the local level indeed.

I don't love Obama. I think Obama is OK. I like the people Obama surrounds himself with. I love Michelle, I love Bill Clinton. I dislike Romney. I dislike the party that lives off racism and hatred. I dislike how completely phony Romney and Ryan are. I dislike the constant barrage of bs and platitudes the right sends our way. This is why I can't wait to vote for Obama. This is why I hope by some miracle of God we can turn Arizona blue.

I personally suspect that Obama is up 1-3 points at this point, but some of that may well fade as the election gets closer.

The popular vote is nice, but the real issue is Ohio, Florida, Virginia, Colorado, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and a few other states.

I expect that Wisconsin and Florida will be very close (I know some polls say otherwise).

If I were a gambling man I would say Obama was a 66% chance of winning. The issue of voter turnout and the problematic economy will hurt him.

Having said that, Romney has been essentially worthless, he has done nothing other than raise money from his friends.

Which is funny, because all that's done is suck money away from the Congressional races- races the Republican party could probably win.

They have to dethrone the extreme right that's taken over their party first; else, very soon, we might be looking at libertarians vs. dems.
