bob - be curious to see your take on this...

Have a flex question in my PPR league. We also get bonus points for 100 yard games.

Have to replace Forte in my lineup (most likely) which means bumping Ridley from flex to RB2. Reggie Bush is my RB1.

    My Flex options are:
    Donnie Avery vs JAX
    Kevin Ogletree vs TB
    Justin Blackmon vs IND
    Mikel LeShoure vs TEN
    Julian Edelman vs BAL
    Martellus Bennett vs CAR

Right now I'm thinking Avery for sure since he's shown good chemistry with Luck.

As far as my other flex position I think Bennett is the obvious choice, but I'm also curious to see if Blackmon can get it going against a suspect Colts D, or maybe Edelman is a sneaky PPR play with Hernandez on the shelf and since he's been playing more than Welker, although Welker got more targets last week.

That's what I'm thinking. He's said he likes Morris more. I know there's no chance in trusting a Shanahan RB over 16 games that isn't named Terrell Davis.

Even though you weren't asking me...

I'd go Bennett and Edelman. Ogletree is going to be, at best, hit or miss all season. I have a feeling they're going to do their best to get Dez heavily involved this week which will limit Ogletree's production. LeShoure is intriguing but he hasn't played and he'll have to earn carries from Kevin Smith. After last week, there is no way anyone could possibly trust the Jacksonville passing game with Gabbert...even if Blackmon didn't drop as many passes as he did last week.

I think Avery gives you the best shot at the 100yd bonus. The problem with Blackmon is he could have a breakout game any game, but his QB play is suspect at best. I would be more likely to start Blackmon if Henne was QB. I like Ogeltree. Bucs gave up 500 yards passing last week. Although I don't think they will do that again, they will take shots and will miss some. Austin and Witten are healthier but Romo likes to spread the ball around. Another thing to consider is PPR, and I think Bennett will get a lot of looks. Sproles had 14 targets against CAR last week. They play a lot like JAX D with safeties deep and with NYG throwing the ball around like last week, they will be ready for deep passes. Look for a medium and short passing game from Eli hoping to setup deep routes. Bradshaw is out and I think because of that they will run the ball less. Bennett dropped what would have been a 2nd TD catch last week but Eli trusts him and he has been a scoring machine this season so far. Edelman was on the field for 75 plays last week but only got 6 targets. I don't like the looks of that.

Go Avery and Bennett. Avery gives you the best shot at bonus and Bennett gives you consistent point production.

    I go Avery and Bennett

Thanks for the input leroy and bob.

Avery and Bennett is what I'm thinking. The other guys need to show me something before they can earn a spot in my lineup.

I feel like such a noob asking all these questions but this is my first year playing so I feel it's justified. Lol

I'm being offered Daryl Richardson for my Bears defense. I currently have the Bills starting this week against the Browns but I feel like overall the Bears are better. My RBs are weak all I have are Lynch, Stewart, and Williams but don't really see Richardson being that productive for me.

Sorry, misread that. I thought you had Richardson.

Yeah, I wouldn't give up the Chicago D for a guy who had a couple big gainers against a suspect D in a shoot-out.

    Too limited a sample size.

Chicago is a top ten scoring defense so far. You don't trade that for someone who had 10 points last week and has never done anything else. This guy picked up Richardson on waivers and is hoping some owner will fall for it and give up must start defense each week. My D is one of my highest scoring options on my team. Keep da Bears.

Oh Richardson is on your team?

Is Avery still going to start with Collie coming back? That's something you should keep an eye on.

At a minimum, it could cut into his targets.

Start the Bears D over the Bills. They've been too horrible to trust.

No he's not on my team. I was just saying if I were to trade for him I don't think I'd get many points from him.

    Collie is still questionable.

Collie (concussion) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, according to team owner Jim Irsay's Twitter account.

Not to mention Collie will just be knocked out again.

PPR (bonus for 100yd games) - Celek or Witten? I'm leaning Celek but these ESPN jabronis love Witten.I have Olsen too. He's a release candidate at this point.

*I can grab Pitta or Cook too. I might grab Pitta but I'm not sold on the guy*

I'd probably start Celek, but temper expectations: I fully expect the PHI-ARI game to be a defensive struggle and everyone in that game to perform below expectations.

Absolutely pick up Pitta over Olsen. He's Flacco's favorite target through the first two weeks of the season, and that has been true against both a bad defense and a pretty good one. I like his value going forward.

Rudolph is out there too. The way I see it I have 4-5 legitimate options each week either on my team or on the waiver wire - I'll just need to find the right guy. Not easy...

All my teams this year either have Graham at TE or some fringe scrap player. All or nothing for me, that was my approach this year.
