They're also like Reddit atheists. that obsessive kind of reddit atheist that ends up pissing you off more than the kind of religious rightists you were originally pissed at in the first place.

No kidding. We're supposed to sit on our hands while this guy advocates bombing Mecca because of his supposed academic freedom while teaching at a military college? No thanks. Islamic influence for the win!

How many people are affiliated with CAIR? How many of them have been found to be terrorists or intentionally supporting terrorist activities? How many of them have advocated terrorism as an appropriate tactic for achieving political goals? For the few people who were affiliated with CAIR and accused of wrong-doing, in all the investigations was it ever found that CAIR, as an organization, supported them in their illicit activities rather than them acting alone?

I'm just not convinced by these "guilt by association" arguments, and it seems to me that's all Pipes and Friends can come up with.

wtf do the OP's daughters have to do with this?

    talk about exploiting his situation.

I hope one of your daughters turns out to fall in love with a Muslim man...

    or come out as lesbians.

how many thousands of Muslims are serving in the US military again?

I am not going to say all Muslims are perfect, there will always be bad eggs or people who will do extreme things that do not go with what is the actual meaning of a religion or practice. These guys who have done bad things within C.A.I.R. were either acting on their own, or their superior has become corrupt and given them bad orders.

I do not believe all Christians are Psychotic extremists who want to burn all holy books not called "The Bible" (i.e. Terry Jones)

I just pray that maybe myself or another Muslim (or Muslims) can show you that Muslims are not bad people! :)

I really dislike all the anti-islam threads in D&D and I usually avoid coming into D&D because of it. But it is D&D for a reason, so maybe I need to step up to the plate and start trying to show what Islam is truly about. Now by no means am I a Sheikh or a hafiz (someone who has memorized the Quran). I am not perfect, but I can do my best to leave a positive influence!

One of the people who responded to him decided to bring them into it by responding to his post by saying he hopes someone else is raising his children.

I like how this thread has turned into a debate on CAIR or the OP's daughters (which was a very classless move, btw), when pretty much the thread should have ended with Donny's post... "sounds like we made the right call here"

How is that arguable by anyone?

    I agree completely.

Now do you feel the same way when it comes to Israel pushing the US to fight their battles for them?

If you agree with that then I can understand your position, if not then you are a hypocrite.

Our anti-Muslim zealots and the Wahabi type Muslim extremists are mirror images of each other.

The Thomas Moore Legal Center are noted right wingers who I suspect yearn for the good old days of the Iraq War.

Folks here are beginning to see ATW and IzakDavid13 for what they are: Bigots and hate-mongerers.

Nah. What they've done by posting a continuous stream of news articles is expose the "moderate" muslims for being unaccountable as well as their hidden agenda's. It's gotten to the raw core of people and the moderates who can be trusted (dmc89, brownbeast) have been separated from those with Islamist, Ayatollah Khomeini esque agenda's but feign innocence (mathloom, glynch). Then you have enablers like LCAhmed and adeelsiddigi, the naive oafs who allow the planning of 9/11 to go on under their noses because Islam is too close to their heart to look at rationally.

I see it as art, slowly chipping away at limestone foundations to create a statue of what is real, and what isn't.

It's unfortunate the liberals on this board are simple minded compared to the conservative's, because they take everything at face value and worry too much about being PC rather than the reality of the situation.

I am a davos man - part of the international elite with no affiliations other than maintaining my sexy, my women and my principles. No circle jerk groups. I just see the truth and all derivatives of it, and the Islamic issue is one that needs to be addressed.

Then perhaps dmc89 or brownbeast can comment on whether they consider CAIR to be a terrorist front. I'd sooner trust their perspective on this than ME Forum or FrontPage.

A lot of people also seem to forget that some of our closest allies are Islamic countries. I don't think Saudi Arabia which is very closely allied with the US will take too kindly to advocating bombing Mecca and Medina. I also don't think Qatar which host one of our largest bases will appreciate that we are at war with Islam.

Leaving aside the alliances I can't image the world's largest oil producer will continue to let the oil flow if two of their cities get bombed.

I have never called for hate against anyone. You, on the other hand, seem to be very bitter and hateful.

One other thing: The people who said these things about Izak's daughters are classless scum. A sincere apology would be the very least.

Being rational, productive members of society, I doubt they'll offer any condemning conclusions for or against an organization they haven't thoroughly investigated or know much about. But they're welcome to say what they know.

I think the next best option is looking at countless federal indictments, entire books written on the issue by independently funded journalists, statements made by federal judges, receipts for large donations made by terrorist regimes/groups as well as letters pushing agendas, investigative reports, numerous articles and of course... our beloved wikipedia. There will always be a ton of information out there - the difference between winners and losers is how they process that information. It's obvious there is more to CAIR than "rumors".

    Dude...just think clearly.

Don't blame the President for a nut-job Lt Colonel.

Criticizing a religion is one thing. But Islam is not our enemy. Extremists on all sides are the enemy.

Bomb Mecca and Medina? Did I read that right? My God. The guy has no business teaching anyone anything. Muslims go nuts when a dude makes a 15 minute crappy anti-Muhammed video. What makes him any better than an Imam suggesting the same thing of Jerusalem (won't happen, also sacred to Muslims) or Bethlehem or Nazareth or Haifa (home of the Baha'i faith)?

    *laugh*

    Oh, the irony.

I dont hate you. You are mostly a nuisance. In a way, given your age, I pity you. Your bigotry and hate-mongering on these boards is disgraceful, and as I said, folks here are aware of it, if they weren't already.

There a few posters here that bring substance to the D&D and I enjoy reading their arguments. I might agree or not agree with what they have to say but I learn from those posts. Sadly, I have to winnow through the usual posts made by bigots here to get to them, which is a nuisance.

PS. No one here takes Ronny seriously. He is mostly here for entertainment. More importantly, hardly a ringing endorsement if it comes from Izakdavid13. He is the crazy (religious fanatics) you are trying to get away from. (you are trying to get away from crazies, arent you?). Its just he is *our* crazy. (psst. Not completely "our" since he is an Aussie and you are German, but you get the drift).
