That much battery life with LTE in such a thin package and 4" screen is pretty darn impressive. I get like 1/3 of that in my non-LTE Galaxy Nexus.
The A1429 cdma model (Verizon and Sprint) supports band 1 frequency 2100, band 3 frequency 1800, band 5 frequency 850, band 13 frequency 700, band 25 frequency 1900 for LTE. It also supports GSM, CDMA and HSPA+ While the Verizon model will not natively work outside of the U.S as unlocked models, it will work outside of the U.S if you're currently on Verizon and have international roaming enabled. Also, unlike the AT&T model, it will support a lot more LTE frequencies especially in Europe. One thing to keep in mind is that unlike Verizon and Sprint Android phones, the iPhone 5 on those networks will not support simultaneous voice and data. AT&T obviously will.
So if the phone will be delivered on Sep. 21, when do they usually ship? Have any users who pre-ordered got shipment notification yet?

By the looks of it, there is little to no reason to update to ios 6 if you don't have at least a 4s. I have a 4 and my wife a 3gs. Won't get turn by turn directions. I won't get the updated Facetime over cellular network. Don't get the panoramic camera option, either. The rest is stuff I didn't really care about anyway. I guess the new phone answering options are ok. I was looking forward to the directions, though.

I ordered mine at 3 am on 9/14 through AT&T but it still says processing and I can't find any tracking info. It was suppose to get here on 9/21. Im guessing Im back ordered as well?
2 of my friends who ordered much earlier than that says backordered. But another friend of mine who ordered much later that day has a shipment (shipped today) for Friday. So it is not first come first served. I'm really pissed at ATT right now. This shows their utter incompetence.
