Lol, looking at it on my iPhone I thought it was a smiley face not the confused face. Can see how that would be confusing. I guess if I had a Samsung with a bigger screen I would have noticed.

I seriously can't understand why you're on this mission to prove your point of people being "uninformed" if they buy the iPhone.... We get it....you aren't getting an iPhone. But PLEASE stop with the notion that anybody who gets the iPhone is getting a vastly inferior product and basically doesn't know what they're doing. You're just flat out wrong. Let people get what they want.
And don't just assume every iPhone owner is that ignorant. It really just has nothing to do with you or your clear Samsung/Nokia bias.
So if the phone will be delivered on Sep. 21, when do they usually ship? Have any users who pre-ordered got shipment notification yet?
As a current S3 owner, Im looking forward to seeing what the S4 is all about as well as the next iPhone. They're both great phones and anyone who thinks otherwise, is pretty much uninformed.
Sounds like the enhanced features are getting some nice confirmation, so I'm even more excited for it to come in. Seems to be holding up well in the reviewing circles.
Brother, it's a monkey see monkey do world. People are going to buy what other people buy. Why are you so adamant that iPhone is terrible? It's a damn good phone for pretty much all age groups. What product can you say that about? I sure as hell am not going to get my parents the "droid razr maxx hd 4g lte ultra wifi" or "samsung galaxy s3 epic touch 4g lte"... Your average joe doesn't give a sh** about Jelly Bean and rooting. They want to fit in by having an iphone and playing words with friends.
It looks like the early review of apple maps is pretty bad. Most importantly they took out public transportation info. Not an issue in Houston but good when traveling other cities. I did read that other apps may be able to fix that by working in conjunction with apple maps so we'll see. On a positive note I had a hard time deciding between black and white especially with so few white iPhone pics. Black looks awesome but my 4 is black and I wanted to change it up. These new pics look very promising for the white.
I'm not trying to make any point really. It's slow, so these threads are the ones with discussion. So why not just post what's on my mind, regardless of how jumbled it may be? I wasn't aware I had to come up with a thesis for my post. Perhaps I hit a little nerve. I was just poking fun, and stated it as so. The little blurb I went on most definitely describes some iPhone owners, but I'm not stupid enough to pretend that's the majority. I have used Apple, I've developed on Apple hardware, my wife owns an iPhone. I don't sit around and make the same statements you think I'm making about my wife. I'm belittling the ones that "deserve" it. I use quotes, b/c it's a strong word, but I'm too lazy to really worry about it too much anymore. I don't think about it too much, but...it is constantly in the recent spotlight. I try to keep up with trends, tech discussions on certain things, and the whole Apple vs. Samsung, Android vs. Apple, Galaxy S3 vs. iPhone 5, etc. etc. is all over the place. So of course I have an opinion on it all, and at the end of my last post states part of it. My prob really is not with those that prefer one thing over another. I think it's the blind devotion to what's popular. I feel the same way with, as noted, Twilight, 50 Shades, etc. Again, it's only those that are kind of clueless that get the video views right? I mean the whole Jimmy Kimmel video is hilarious. I don't deny Apple makes good products. Although not for me, I certainly see the draw to their stuff. I've stated, I think in this thread that I want Apple to push harder, since competition is good for the consumer. Now see what you did? I had to go type out crap to explain (again in an unorganized manner) myself for no apparent reason as if anyone cared. I suppose it's therapeutic for me.
IOS 6 is being released tomorrow! Anyone know if it will be available at midnight tonight? If not, I guess I'll just wait and see! Lol
Anyone have a clear picture of which carrier is the cheapest between Verizon and AT&T? I have an expired contract with AT&T with the unlimited broadband via my old 3GS. If I buy the iPhone 5 an get a new contract. I was told that I can get the same contract, plus a $15 a month fee for LTE. I've been intending to switch to Verizon, but if AT&T can be believed (and my tendency is to not believe anything they say, the cretins!), it's quite a bit less to reup with them. Thoughts? I intended to order two Verizon phones the night you could order them, but passed out.
