Cole... For being a bow wow on steroids (lyrically, of course, not physically), this ain't half bad But it puts Cole in a lose/lose situation.. The track hits hard enough to warrant a response track and if he doesn't a lot of people are going to claim Diggy came thru and crushed the buildings for Cole but if he responds and murders him something serious, people are going to claim Cole is lame for picking on a kid but f_ck it, to me it's hip hop, I wanna hear him actually respond. All what Cole has been doing is light little subliminal jabs (which is prob the only way he can continue looking like the winner in this situation) but I wouldn't mind him goin in on Diggy

I never had the time to respond, but I did feel you were going overboard on the hate for my boy K.Dot on his voting stance. I never heard or felt like he was ever preaching to people that voting is pointless and not to vote. He was just asked a question and answered how he is towards the subject personally. Don't give up on Kenny just yet
He paddled back like crazy in that second interview, listen to the first one. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/ypknuX4DHZc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Just uploaded my song to youtube <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/iPEKwQD9dh4" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Still not worth getting upset about imo (and not singling out Yung, I mean anyone). I mean, the interviewers name is "Scary Truth" so they're going to dig for those kind of answers and hi-lite them in videos. It may be silly to put 100% weight behind what he said, but it's also silly to think and put 100% weight behind the opposite side of the spectrum. There's too much information that leaks and can no longer be smoke screened by the powers that be due to the technology and "information-age" we live in. I even agree with some of what he believes. But he's not preaching these views in every interview and song. He was asked and he answered. If Kendrick was pulling the topic of discussion every time a camera was placed on him, then yeah, it's an annoying agenda.
Yeah still letting it simmer.. It's not bad at all off of a few spins in the car, but there what seem to be a few "random" choices and decisions on some of the songs.
I didn't enjoy, it didn't seem like Kanye put forth the effort to make it outstanding. Kim Kardashain needs to dump Kanye, so he can make the best album of 2012.
Can someone bump the R&B thread, the one that yung t created cause I cannot find it. And Tdash, if you have an internship thing available at one of your studio things man, let me know. I really wanna see that type of business myself...I don't if you have one. I'm talking for summer tho lol
Okay I listened to F&L II twice now. First seven tracks-->straight classic(although I'm meeh about Lamborghini Angels). Even liked b**** Bad because it fits between the other songs and production/feeling. Track eight (Put Em Up) is a bit annoying to me, skipping material. Track 9-16: really good, no real flaws. That part of the album is maybe too mainstream with some of the hooks, but overall still good. Standout tracks: Strange fruition - holy ish, that's a way to start an album. One of my favourite tracks of 2012. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/a-goPCAwt_k" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> ITAL (Roses) Around My Way - classic Lupe feeling that I missed in the last years <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/VrxHuw8bn94" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Audubon Ballroom - daaaaaaaaaamn, 2nd favourite track on the album <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/WoD1vGm5k6g" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> How Dare You - beautfiful melody and hook by Bilal, feel good track <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/UhJTHoFDVkg" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Unforgivable Youth - just listen to the lyrics <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/qo88J-OPUUo" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Overall: Could be considered a Modern Classic, definitely one of the best albums this year and in the last few. Songs 1-7 are just pure greatness, 8 is meh, second half is really good but a bit too mainstream with the hooks, but nonetheless still above average. Had fears this would be like Lasers and washed down, but this album is Lupe's return to greatness and definitely made me a fan again. Rating: Maybe 4.5/5
