Coming out a week from today. Anybody playing the demo? The graphics are stunning on this year's version. The gameplay also feels a lot more realistic. I've already preordered with Best Buy so I can get $20 in reward money. I'm really impressed. I only had FIFA 12 on the Wii so I don't really know how that one compared, but I have FIFA 11 on PS3 and the difference is pretty astounding. All in all game looks beautiful and on defense you actually have to work harder to try and dispossess the ball.
Skipped FIFA 12 and will definitely buy FIFA 13 on release. Great improvements, especially the First Touch Control, way better Manager mode and Ultimate Team.
Definitely gonna get this. The last FIFA I had was 09, so it's definitely time for a new release for me.

Anyone play on PS3 so I can whoop up on my fellow clutchfans? Was so happy when 2012 came out and they made defending harder and more skill involved. Tired of guys just running around and holding down the takle button. The only real game I play is this one. It's probably one of the best sports games ever made. Bring it!
Played Fifa12 quite a bit. On first impression, the 13 Demo seems smoother than 12 but they seem very similar. Nothing gamechanging. Probably will still a solid game (as 12 was). Seems as though they just wanted to make minor tweaks and improve upon Fifa12. Anyways, if anyone wants to get a few games in hit me up. I'll probably whoop you. Last Fifa I had was 11, was disappointed with the franchise mode since that was what I mainly played. It was much different than that of fifa 10. If fifa 13 has a franchise mode similar to what was in 10 I will definitely purchase. Can anybody speak to the franchise mode in 12? Never really explored 12 for that reason.
I've never been an owner of a FIFA game, but I've played it sparingly at friends places every so often. Is it really worth getting? Is it a deep game with many different modes, or is it just a fun game to play an quick exhibition with your friends?
Great Manager Mode where you coach a Club and can later even be coach of a National team, too. Great youth and transfer system with all tournaments, over 30 leagues. Ultimate Team mode(explained it in the 2k thread) with daily tournaments, both offline and online. Online Leagues. Also: 11 vs. 11 Club mode, where every player controls their created player(which you can play at the Online clubs and offline in season/manager mode).
I think I'm gonna buy it too. Skipped on Fifa 12 for the first time in 5 years and definitely regretted it. Best sports game on the market.
Whom did y'all have as your "loading..." Arena player in 2011 (don't know if 2012 had it)? For me it was Cuauhtémoc Blanco with MLS' Fire. :grin: I was hated when someone would visit my house and played the game... "Oh, man... you have HIM...? Ugh." LOL!
Deep game with many modes.. typical Career Modes as teams, managers, and even as a "pro". Online leages= I don't play this that much Head to Head seasons (Online) which division relegation and promotion. You start off at Division 10 and can move up to Division 1. 2v2 Custom games= Online My favorite: Pro Clubs. Where you control your "pro" who you've created and built up, to join and play on a team online vs other teams with their "pros".
One thing that made me angry. On FIFA Ultimate Team on PS3. Sometimes when I win an auction and try to add the item to my active squad or club items, I'd get this bug where the game would freeze completely and I'd have to restart. Anybody else had this issue? FUT really frustrated me so didn't put too much time into it.
first-generation PS3? ^^ It happens with mine in lots of other games, but I never played the mode you're mentioning.
