idk about that, but the highschool i went to had at least 2 bomb threats a month from stupid ****ing idiots trying to skip class... Glad I dont have to deal with that annoying **** anymore now theres 3 bomb threats in less than a week from major colleges just gets me very annoyed
And a high school next to BU was evacuated last week or something. All the BU kids got text messages about it.
Suspect caught & confesses [rquoter]BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Police have made an arrest in connection with the bomb threat called in to LSU, WAFB's Jim Shannon reports. An LSU Police Department spokesperson says the suspect, William Bouvay, 42, of Baton Rouge, has been charged with communicating false information of a planned bombing on school property. Police say Bouvay is not an LSU student. Bouvay is being held in the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison. He was arrested just before midnight. In the police report from the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office, what Bouvay said to the 911 operator was recorded. "Yes, I've planted three bombs at LSU's school campus. My colleagues planted three bombs at LSU to go off in two hours if my (pause). This is not a joke. I'm gonna go there and... (call disconnected)." According to the report, detectives tracked the cell phone call to Skysail Avenue in Baton Rouge. While police were in the area, they found Bouvay. Detectives say they questioned Bouvay and he eventually confessed to making the call. You say that until twice a week a bomb threat is called in at an airport, or grand central station or the subway system. Hell terrorists dont even have to make real bombs, all they have to do is just call in threats everywhere. Not only could they disrupt major stations and locations with high traffic volume, but after about 6 months of it nobody would care anymore and a real bomb could do some damage. If it were me, I would call in a bomb at every NFL game every week. I would call in bombs at major traffic hubs, again Grand Central Station, the L in Chicago, JFK airport. All the evacuations that would be needed, as you say, would cause more disruption then an actual bomb. If it were real, then there would be no threat. It would just happen.
