Do you guys really think Lin is going to sleep on Chandler's couch? Come on people don't be so gullible. It is what we call here in LA publicity. His publicist knew the effect the tweet would have. It is getting international attention. already. It will be headlines in every country in the world by tomorrow. Chandler Parson, welcome to Lin's world, because you have just become his best bud:)

They've been good friends for a while now...didnt just happen. chandler is the one who took care of Lin when he signed here, even trying to get him to live at his own complex....and he may have succeded, which may explain the tweet.

^^ Yeah,Chandler knows him and even practiced with lin while he's here, and both have kept up to date to each other last season.

I don't believe it's some PR thing either. He sent a text to Chandler who chose to tweet it. Also, wasn't Lin considering staying in the same place as Chandler? If so, he might have just thought it made sense to ask Chandler if he could stay with him instead of renting a hotel.

But yeah, it's pretty crazy how it's being reported all over, however the couch sleeping was a big Lin story last season so maybe not so surprising.

you're reaching, bad. From what we know about Lin, he doesn't do things to get publicity, he has enough of it. Also, he doesn't have a publicist. A business manager, yes but not a publicist.

It was a private text that parsons decided to tweet -- maybe parsons was doing it for attention and not lin?!

If it is a PR move then I applaud his publicist. He could have gone the easy route and just tweeted the question to Chandler, but instead he texts him and then asks Chandler to go along with this PR stunt.

Even the wording of the text is incredible. He says "sorry" (shows he's still the polite Christian boy that everyone fell in love with). He asks about sleeping on a couch (we know the story). He even uses "u" instead of "you" to show he not a pretentious snob like other Harvard guys.

OR... he could just be a nice/humble guy looking to crash at a friends. You never know, he could be sick of hotels after spending over a month in Asia.

If it is a PR move good for him it worked. Nonetheless, I believe that they are living in the same building. Good to know that everyone will be in TC tomorow. Maybe we can get some video. I still want to read Terrence Jones, Omer, Delfino, Martin, Machado & Lin's Q&A in particular. I honestly forget that we signed Delfino.

First of all relax I don't google stalk anybody I just check the Rockets website & remember ****. Both Lin & Parsons said as much. Lin said he checked out Parsons place at his press conference & parsons said they are figuring out living arrangements together. Draw from that whatever conclusion you want. It is all on Rockets.com if you don't believe me.

    People's imagination really amazes me.

The text is a private message from Lin to Parsons, who chose to tweeted it, hence made it known to all. How would it be a PR move in the first place?

Some said why not stay at a hotel now that he is rich.
Firstly, I would agree with one of the readers that he may be tired of staying in a hotel after a whole month in Asia.
Secondly, he probably wants to get away from the public, avoiding having to wear Hello Kitty head again :)

Also, whoever follows JLin's news will know that Lin did mention he wants to find a place in Parsons complex. It's a common knowledge to Lin's fans actually.
