let's be honest -- we've beaten two atrocious teams. We don't fully know what we've got yet, but there's a lot of room for optimism. Winning in Denver will be very difficult, especially if the Broncos take care of the Falcons and are also 2-0....the crowd will be nuts
The biggest key is the play of our offensive line...if they can dominate like they did today...and limit PM time of possession, Houston should win... On the other hand...Peyton's favorite whipping boy is the Texans...and he like loves to torture our city...
Denver will be tough...and coming back from that with a loss should not surprise or hurt anyone's feelings. Now, if we do win that game, that would be very impressive.
Texans will be 2-1, JJ Swat will not even be a factor in this game. All thanks to Raven. Book it. JK. It's good to be optimistic, but it goes without saying. "That's why they play the game". I foresee the game being really close in closing minutes and Manning throws a heart-breaking touchdown to Demaryius Thomas to bring the Texans back to the old dark times of the Colts dominating the AFC South. ...I hope I eat crow for that and this teams beat Denver.
This will be the TEST week. Like it was mentioned. . beating the Dolphins and Jags is hardly and indicator they are Middle Tennessee State and McNeese Rocket River
I'll just go along with Raven on this.. What the hell? - can't you just see Manning going over film trying to figure out a way from Watt? Go Texans!
Tannehill, coached by Joe Philbin. Gabbert, coached by Mularky. Peyton is going to be the first guy to seriously test our scheme. He's going to study the film. He is the best in the league at identifying and picking on weak spots. He can get the ball out in 2 seconds. This won't be a simple dance. We need to be ready for hard slants, quick outs, and other timed routes.
I'm much more worried about our offense against them than anything regarding Peyton. I hope that Kubiak will have a solid gameplan together for our first real test.
cleverly disguised " I can't wait for the official game thread" thread =) I love it. i'm looking forward to playing manning. The Nfl feels like the Nfl again with his play and silly funny commercials. Hope he stays healthy. That said, if you break his oline, he will be stopped.
If this was the old Texans, you could have chalked this one as a complete loss: on the road, with a good defense, against Peyton Manning. But like I said several times, here's a team that playoff contenders can pull a win out of their *** for.
