Well the only thing wrong with that is that all the players that are solid and below have been that for their career until Houston. Asik, Patterson, and Lin will be in that star category next year. And I think they should incorperate Steals and Blocks too. Make Star 21.

Other than Royce, I would consider Dmo and the other rookies as being in the (draft picks) 1 - 10 category. Look at how Dmo performed against Myers Leonard the 11th pick. Summer-league revealed who was more nba ready and which team had the better draft.

I would consider D-Mo a top 5 in the 2011 Draft. Him over Jo-Val. In this Draft, Top 7-8. Definetaly knocking out Waiters and Ross in that top 7-8 though.

Nah. Lamb has a pretty high ceiling, but Motiejunas DEFINITELY has more potential still. Lamb could be like Kevin Martin with better defense. Motiejunas could be Pau Gasol.

D-Mo if he reaches his highest can be a Dirk Nowitzki. Lamb can probably reach a Monta Ellis, Joe Johnson Ceiling.

That is one of the stupidest posts I've ever read on here. Have you seen Donuts play? I think he's great, but he doesn't play like Dirk. "Duh...Donuts is European; therefore, he play like Dirk...." I'm surprised you didn't say Lin would be the next Yao Ming!

Why can't you and coachbadlee reign yourselves in a little bit and pick your spots on this forum? I'm sick of coming to this forum, which I've enjoyed for 13 years, be hijacked by the idiocy of you two. That's a little harsh, but that just seems what it has gotten to.

I also don't think Lamb resembles Monta Ellis either.

Apologies for being so venomous, but hopefully I made a point.

That kind of post is totally unnecessary. You have a very high opinion of yourself. You must be the 2nd coming of Daryl Morey. Lighten up. Ain't nobody got time for that. You admitted it yourself "Apologies for being so venomous..." This is a place for people to relax and enjoy the Rockets. We don't need your uber criticism. Sorry for being harsh...

Fair enough. I probably should have hesitated prior to posting. Perhaps my tastes are out of step with this board.

I think Terrence Jones is going to surprise a lot of people. Not me.

I'm not saying that JUST because they are both european that Donatas is like Dirk. Look at their game style. It's a lot alike. Long Range shooters. Big men. Mid Range Shooters. Good fade away. Play well in the post. Medium rebounders. they are a lot alike. Lamb resembles Ellis in his early days. Ellis at first was primarily a shooter. He developed into a good defender. Lamb seems to be doing the same. I've followed the Rockets since I was four, 1994 when I moved to Houston, and I don't plan to stop. My family has been tied with the Rockets franchise so don't tell me I don't know anything about this team. I know too much and not enough. Yes I am new to this website, but I still can tell when two players resemble each other and I will tell you their game style is alike.

Almost everyone has been wanting Martin gone since last season, I am not in that group...the guy is such an efficient scorer, an elite one...the guy had 24.5 off of 13.5 shot attempts and the next year struggles to fit into McHale system and quickly is written off...people even saying lee was the answer at sg! I am big on Martin still even with the rule change u gotta remember the guy is one of the best 3 point shooters in the game and still capable of drawing fouls...I think he will have a good season...I am anxious to see what lamb can do for the future but I don't look at him as being better than Martin at this point. I still think Martin is gone though after this season but there is alot that Martin can offer this year in terms of vet leadership and scoring...I think that although it is going to be tough that the rocks do got a chance of making playoffs

First off, I apologize for the meanness of my tone and wording in my first post in this thread.

Still, I don't see D-Mo becoming Dirk. Dirk is an amazing pure shooter. D-Mo has range, but so did Danny Ferry. I like D-Mo a lot. And I am no expert on his game even. I just don't think you can say every tall guy with range has the potential to be Dirk.

You and badlee would make perfect beer buddies. Get together with him, have a beer or two and I bet you two can talk about our rookies for hours on end.

I'm not too high on all of them. Only D-Mo. Machado is a role player for his career. Lamb may end up a borderline star. White and Jones are a Odom at best.
D-Mo is the player i see doing good.

If by star you mean all star then maybe Lin, Dmo, and Lamb. None of them will be superstars though.
