You are correct, sir. At one point in my life, around 22yrs old, my friend and I estimated how many PB&Js that we've consumed in our lifetime. I came to 20,000. Much like Wilt Chamberlain's sex life...five each day for 15 years. Possibly the world's most eaten sandwich of all time. oh, and look, you can get it with Bacon now. I eat a turkey, lettuce, mayo, mustard and cheese sandwich almost every day for lunch. So, that's one of them. Also: Fried egg sandwich, PB&J, classic grilled cheese and a well done Po Boy.

I ate a pimento cheese sandwich (well, a portion of one -- had to leave the rest) for the first time this past summer, and I have to concur.
I love many types O sandwich. Some of the simple ones named like grilled cheese and PB&J are fantastic, but one of my favs is... Sliced BBQ beef with sausage links on jalapeño cheese bread from Grand Prize BBQ in Texas city. Pure mouth watering goodness!! One I loved as a kid(still do) being from up north is, a fried pork tenderloin with ketchup and pickle. Can't find them here in Texas, at least I haven't in my 30 plus years here.
