Not really a rating, but what do y'all think of re:retribution based on the trailer? Will be going to see it, but i just hope there is more zombies than the trailer showed.
I know there is a Netflix que thread but just wanted to make you that Netflix added a whole load of movies today. It's like Christmas morning
The Warrior's Way WTF?! I'll give it a 5/10 purely for the few fighting scenes that were in the movie. Otherwise it's like Baz Lurhmann meets Kung Fu Hustle in the old west with circus folk. Did they really think that was a good idea?!
Machine gun preacher 5/10. What a boring ass movie. Fo real dough. Resident evil retribution 8/10. Zombies with guns Brah Brah? Dem tittays was nice though. The end looks pretty badass or the next movie.
Plz let me know what you think. Anyways, I've been watching rentals with a new tv and gives it a funny look. 120hz I believe, it might be that. Avatar looked fake ass hell on my new tv.
Turn off the smoothing motion effect. That makes it look soap opera'y. It works well for sports, but it's terrible for normal shows.
The Prestige - sigh im at it again but that movie once more just blew my mind and in bluray! Unbelievable script and writing, stelar acting and performances. My plotholes have been put to bed and this film keeps rising on my list. Next up is the illusionist.
Since you like sci-fi, these are the ones I've seen recently, and worth watching again. I'd give them 8.5 and above Ghost in the Shell (old, but really cool futuristic anime) 28 Days Later & 28 Weeks Later (rage virus>zombie-esque) Imposter (2001) - alien invasion, awesome ending The Abyss (worth watching more than once) Deja Vu (Denzel Washington goes Michael J. Fox) Equilibrium (2002)- Batman doing gun karate All I can remember right now.. time to watch Texans
