On the plus side, Piland will get a chance to work on his spray tan and hit up Rodeo Drive for some fabulous handbag shopping.

I talked to the LOLB and He is a Freshmen. He also says its "gonna be tough" but he hopes they can "upset" the team. He said that the team is super "inexperienced and young". Hopefully they can pull together.

Any UCLA fans I apologize for forgetting to put #22 ranking on the title.

I don't know who's making these lines for U of H games. Two touchdowns is the standard, but 0-2 C-USA vs. a ranked BCS team should have at least 3 TDs.

Because of the "sprinklers sticking up on the field." I was in the stands at the Pitt game a few weeks earlier when they announced the other game's score during halftime, and we all "ooh'd" and "aah'd" and thought it was hilarious.

Incidentally they still had the track at Robertson during that Pitt game, so they promoted all over newscasts the night before that "Carl Lewis would run his last race" at time. My dad was a big track fan and tickets were only $7, so I invited him to that game. The "race" was really just a goofy little one-team relay with Lewis and Burrel, et al; but I remember my dad watching Pitt any time they dropped back to pass and saying in his Cameroonian accent, "look at all de time dey have, look at all de time."
