    Baby Clutch was the BEST mascot in Houston sports history.

    How about just not having one? They add nothing to the experience. We much prefer more hot girls in short shorts and baseball jerseys.

    I hate Orbit.

    One game when I was probably 5 or 6, he took my hat and drove around the field with it, laughing all the way. I was so pissed off. I've never forgiven that fat p.o.s.

    When I was a kid, sometime in the early 80's, I think I saw picture of this mascot in SI with all the other masscots for mlb and what they earned, and told my dad that this was the job I wanted when I grew up.

    My dad let me know the salary was a pittance.

    I told him I didn't care.

    They still come on TV plenty. Problem is, I'm pretty sure Crane wouldn't want to pay Hanna-Barbera for the rights.

    nonsense, my 3 year old nephew watches the jetsons.. he even screams "JETSOOOOOOOOON" like mr spacely.. im under 30 and im sure there are younger people here who know about Astro..
