liberal pile on machine in full force today! I love it. Means I struck a nerve I understand why you're so defensive -- you're trying to cover up Obama's failures
Deflection to your failure to answer a simple question. What are Mitt Romney's policy changes towards those three questions?
Neotardcon backtrack machine has been in overdrive since Tuesday. I understand why you're so defensive. You're trying to cover up Mitt ****ting the bed.
Hey, I found something I agree with texxx about. Obama, Morey,* and any other leader -- they don't just have to do better than the next guy, they need to flat-out succeed in an absolute sense. * Though it is unfortunate that we could fire Morey and conduct a search on merit to find another highly qualified general manager to take his spot, but if we fire Obama we've only got this one alternative right now, and he might be fine, but he was selected more on connections, money and hair than he was on his merits.
Not sure why you are bothering. Folks who are only interested in blaming don't want to have an actual discussion about complicated issues. With regards to the current controversy, I think had Romney waited a few days then he could have justifiably criticized the President on the lack of security at Embassy in Cairo and Consulate in Benghazi. I think his timing was not only off, but what he actually criticized was off mark as well.
Mitt came across as opportunistic, desperate, and insensitive, completely lacking in either empathy, nuance, or depth. In other words, a typical neocon.
This may become Mitt's "Palin" moment where he ends up disqualifying himself to a large enough swath of swing voters that he cannot win. Too soon to tell. Unlike Palin's selection was for McCain, I don't think this will cost him the election because Obama was probably going to win anyway.
This page is interesting: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terrorist_attacks_on_U.S._diplomatic_facilities
What's interesting is that 12 of the attacks, the vast majority, occurred while George W. Bush was President......
I disagree. He is not typical, he is the very best they have to offer. The cream of the crop of TJ, Basso and texxxx ilk. Obviously it goes downhill from Mitt quite a ways before it gets to the every day idiots.
This is the saddest truth of all. Think about it, Mitt really is the lesser of all the other evils the GOP offfered up this election season: Newt? Cain? Bachmann? Santorum? Really?
I don't know, man. 9-9-9 is probably more substantive and better than the utter emptiness and soullessness that has proceeded from the Romney campaign in recent months.
and Perry. Can't forget him. If he could have just stood there and kept his mouth shut, like he has in the Texas elections, he more than likely would have been nominated. Unfortunately a candidate for president has to speak every once in a while. And that is where the debates are going to be lots of fun to watch. Romney can't field questions and limit press opportunities like he does on the campaign trail.
Don't worry, as soon as Obama wins in November the right wing extremists will quickly put Romney back on the enemy list...
The moral high ground is always supporting democracy over totalitarianism, but by definition, freedom means you won't control it. 1000 years of culture and 100 years of being played for pawns make America as an ally a tough sell to Arabs. We can only manage the chaos with diplomacy as best we can.
"Mitt Romney is likely to lose — and should, given that he’s neither a true conservative nor a courageous moderate. He’s just an ambitious man." --Joe Scarborough
So someone made a bigoted, prejudiced horrible movie about Islam, and then some people criticize Obama for coming out against it? I would criticize anyone who thought the movie was worthwhile. Everyone should speak out against it.
