I hit you hard tonight. You know, I know it, everyone here knows it. I don't dislike you personally - I don't know who you really are to dislike you. And I respect the fact that you answered that survey earlier this year. I dislike what you do here. It's unbecoming of a self-respecting person. I'm even talking right here, this stupid game you are playing. Drop the act, man-up, and show that you can debate on the merits of the facts with an ounce of respect for your opponent. You do that and you have my respect and I'll treat you with such. Until then, you are just a nut or a troll that I find an easy target for mockery and derision.
I'm not sure which line of yours has me rolling more: "I hit you hard tonight" or "I don't bother you". You're in meltdown mode, son. I dominate your thoughts and control your emotions. That is plainly obvious for all to see.
Umm, why should public figures be exempt? Being able to speak about public figures without resorting to immature nicknames- now that's a true test of someone who can hold their own in an argument. Sorry, your explanation doesn't wash. Nice try, though. A for effort, F for execution. But, it's OK. You're typical of many conservative extremists for whom simply saying, "I prefer a conservative approach, I don't think Obama's done enough, and I prefer Romney" isn't enough. If I had to guess, deep down, you really don't have a whole bunch of confidence in Romney, or you have been brainwashed to believe that Obama has been this horrible President, which is certainly overreaching. You see, it's OK to support one side without going on a cherry-picking crusade to paint someone worse than they really are. No, people who insult public figures will no doubt insult others in authority, like their supervisors, their parents, etc. I've seen it up close. Liberals making fun of Bush are just as bad. Lack of respect for the President of your country certainly can and does "trickle down."
Your creative juices, which originally were the consistency of slightly damp black pepper, have now completely dried to resemble the leftover specs of salt on the table of a closed neighborhood diner.
it is plainly obvious to see bigtexxx in meltdown mode. he is being dominated. others have clearly controlled his thoughts and emotions. it is plain for all to see.
Respect the office, not the man? Conservatives sure are fervent that Hussein isn't really an American born citizen. Maybe it helps remove that edge of trashing the presidency.
well...the original idea for an insurance mandate and penalties for not carrying insurance was....wait for it....written in 1993 by the Heritage Foundation. the HERITAGE FOUNDATION! the GOP plan for making Obama a one term president has the GOP fleeing from ANY stance Obama takes, even if that stance was once their own. and to the guy complaining about 43 months at 8% unemployment: you want the government to be smaller and curtail spending, but at the same time you're going to whine and complain that government jobs are being lost. do you not see how hypocritical this is?!? the USA has had 29 straight months of PRIVATE SECTOR job growth. listening to the ideas from the right, you guys should be thrilled about all the government job losses. it's what you have been arguing for!
Now that is rich. Rich indeed. libtard OR libtards site:bbs.clutchfans.net About 92 results wingnut OR wingnuts site:bbs.clutchfans.net About 3,160 results
Would like it see the stats before Google ad words search came around. You obviously weren't around during the Bush years. Only 92 hits on Libtards? come on now. basso himself used that word more times.
Yeah, it's just in the liberals nature to insult. Conservatives point out flaws with Obama, liberals attack conservative posters directly. It's childish and wrong, and frankly speaks to the fact that they can't argue on the merits...
I would count you and your party lucky that its only insults and desperate people crushed by conservative legislation haven't turned to more extreme means to fight thier oppression.
I really shouldn't even acknowledge an argument as ignorant as what's quoted above, however... which pieces of "conservative legislation" are you referring to? It's been 6 years since the Republicans controlled the legislative process. Since 2006. Things were pretty good in 2006. Things are really bad now. Clinton repealed Glass Steagall, effectively deregulating the banks. The libs pushed the Community Reinvestment Act, which forced banks to lend to subprime (minority) borrowers. The libs prevented Fannie and Freddie's reform. All of this led to the financial crisis. Then afterwards, Obama raises taxes and drops the regulatory bomb on the economy, strangling any hopes of a recovery. The middle and lower class is then ravaged as the Fed prints money and the price of food and energy skyrockets. Tell me again whose policies are crushing desperate people? It's those of the liberals. But those are just the facts...
So, the Republicans have held the majority in Congress since January of 2011. 18+ months. They promised us more jobs. Where are the jobs?
The Senate is controlled by the Democrats. Good grief, the quality of posters on this board is just bad.
Well its not really an argument, it just an observation. You can pretend to be a character in the fictional reality where the the big bad chairman Obama wants to implement his socialist agenda while the Right bravely fight as God's soldiers against this tyranny, but the reality is that people are suffering. Now its one thing for everyone to be suffering, and quite another where the middle class and poor suffer, while the rich are getting it better and better. Now lets step away from how we got here and just focus on perceptions. The perception for many people right now is that the republicans and the rich are one and the same, pushing thier own agenda, at the expense of everyone else. People are getting desperate. Now I am not one of those desperate people. We are upper middle class and were smart enough avoid the traps that others fall into. But if you keep punishing the middle class for not being rich, and keep tilting the playing field by exploiting the political process and violating fundamental rights, eventually you will take away hope from individuals. Once hope is gone, you will have created a very dangerous situation for yourself, one where people "have nothing to lose". Trust me when I say, thats not a situation you want to put yourself in.
let's take a look at some of your childish posts shall we? The ones where you refer to yourself in an exalted manner.... The above communication style is telltale of narcissistic personality disorder. Let's check out some traits of NPD: An obvious self-focus in interpersonal exchanges Problems in sustaining satisfying relationships A lack of psychological awareness Difficulty with empathy - by self-admission Problems distinguishing the self from others (see narcissism and boundaries) Hypersensitivity to any insults or imagined insults (see criticism and narcissists, narcissistic rage and narcissistic injury) Vulnerability to shame rather than guilt Haughty body language Flattery towards people who admire and affirm them (narcissistic supply) Detesting those who do not admire them (narcissistic abuse) Using other people without considering the cost of doing so Pretending to be more important than they really are Bragging (subtly but persistently) and exaggerating their achievements Claiming to be an "expert" at many things Inability to view the world from the perspective of other people Denial of remorse and gratitude HO HO HO HO HO HO!
BREAKING apparently the Fed thinks our jobs situation and economy are so dire that they're pulled the trigger on QE3
What the heck is going through Bernanke's head... Let's recapitalize the banks again! Never mind that banks are sitting on a ridiculous amount of excess reserves and consumers still aren't willing to borrow. I swear...it'll spur the economy!
The last two programs did correlate with periods of higher growth. At best the evidence is mixed, but it's clearly better than doing nothing. Other than raising the inflation target (they should do this, but won't...), how do you propose then that the Fed fulfill its legal obligation to reduce unemployment? This is as good a tool as any.
