I think Esteban's rage is against affirmative action since he knows he could not have cut it without the boost.

It is ok, esteban, you did have to overcome a lot and we liberals think you deserve it, though your ingratitude is a bit troubling. Hopefully you are trying to help other struggling immigrants and not just doing tit and nose jobs for the wealthy.

Will Romney's Foreign-Policy Fumble Doom His Campaign?

Will Mitt Romney look back on this day as the blunder that doomed his campaign?

It's too soon to tell, of course. But the reaction to his recent foreign-policy moves has been overwhelmingly negative, from Republicans and Democrats alike, to the point that some wonder whether it could begin to disqualify him in voters' minds.

Smiling can also be an involuntary reaction to lying and thinking you are getting away with it. (At least that is what I heard on TED.)

I think Romney's risk was assymetrical. There was a lot of potential upside if his criticism hit the right note -- he could have made Obama look very bad. But, hit the wrong note and the downside still isn't so big, because it won't stick in people's minds so long.

But, what I think is interesting is if he had waited long enough to hear theories about an orchestrated AQ attack, I think he could have made a much more effective rebuke by criticizing the level of security at the embassies and painting Obama as not recognizing the depth of the Islamist threat. It may not be true, but would resonate better today. He can't do it now though or he'll look scattershot.

The problem for Romney is that he is now cementing a pattern of ineptitude in respect to foreign policy. If this was an isolated incident it would be inconsequential to the election.

Put in context with his comments about Russia, the insult to our strongest ally England and whatever future blunders pop up and it becomes more important.

On a side note, I just read online that his money has lots of experience abroad so that should help him.

Man, still avoiding the question, exposing your lack of knowledge.

What would you do differently in regards to Syria, Russia and Libya?

What has Romney put forth as policy solutions to those three issues?

    disagree completely

This is purely a red herring by Obama's camp and the media he's in bed with to distract attention away from Obama's failures. Obama's focus should be on doing things like attending intelligence briefings and meeting with foreign leaders (cough, Netanyahu) rather that throwing stones at his political opponents while our ambassadors are killed.

    1. Stop al-Assad's killings of innocents and tell Putin that we don't care if you have some naval ships there

    2. Libya -- actually attend intelligence briefings and use our military forces to act upon intelligence and protect our ambassadors and property rather than having Islamists desecrate them and kill our ambassador.

    Not that hard brah

The thought that Mr. Obama has any great influence over the chaos of the Arab Spring, or that anybody could is ludicrous.

Hahhahahahahahaha, wow actually chuckled on that one.

Do we just snap our fingers and stop the killings? How exactly would you propose we do that? More importantly, what has Romney proposed we do to do that?

Hahaha, and what exactly do you think telling off Putin will accomplish? Will it make you feel better? Because I can't see exactly how that's going to help.

    Man, good stuff.

You failed to mention how you would do that.

I focus on the outcomes, and Obama has failed miserably. No excuses, find a way to make it happen, Obama.

Wow, that is truly a pathetic answer. If we're looking at outcomes, we have to project those outcomes using what actions are going to happen.

I ask again, what specific policy changes has Mitt Romney proposed to these issues?

To be an informed voter about this issue, I'd like to know how the outcomes might be different under a Romney administration.

I just find it funny because I'm asking a very basic question.

Bigtexx: X policies are bad because it leads to A outcome. I want outcome B.

Me: Okay, what policy can lead us to outcome B?

Bigtexx: That's not important, I just focus on wanting outcome B.

    Hahahaha.
