Patrice O'neal Appreciation Thread

It PAINS me how this genius isn't around any longer to shine his manly insight to the world. Very few comics have the ability to work a crowd and do nothing but riff off topics thrown in the air the way he does. He was finally coming around as far as written material but there was once a time when Patrice playing off of the crowd would be funnier than his actual material.

Dude had one of the most insightful outlooks on any effing topic.

I'm glad he was able to leave us with two separate specials right before he passed, both being his best.

Some kind soul uploaded every single one of his appearances on the Opie and Anthony (somewhere under 140 3-hour videos) so I've been consuming HOURS and will need hours more when I cycle through those.

If there's anything that guys could truly walk away from Patrice with, it's relationship advice. His harsh, blunt outlook is extreme and of course exaggerated but holds SO MUCH TRUTH lol. At times, tells us exactly what we already know but he puts it in a perspective that we could easily translate into life and actually improve certain situations. I say this because a lot of fans of his are unaware that he once upon a time had a short run with his own relationship talk show on XM called the "Black Philip Show" - hysterical, offensive and eye opening truth for the most part. Highly recommend everyone checking them out whenever you have time to kill for your ears.
