    What the heck does my race have anything to do with all this?

    In my impression, there is a serious correlation between tatoos and thugs in general. And I am quite sure most thugs don't know what they're doing with their tatoos. They just think something stupid is cool and finally they have something to identify with for their empty life.

    One day if there is such a day when you see someone like Barack Obama or Bill Gates or Yo-Yo Ma tatooed up, come and sit with me, I'll treat you with a glass of fine wine.

    MLB most of them have tattoos like bikers, and you are not angry at them

    you choose the NBA to whine about

    Knicks Fans loved Jeremy Lin but his fans made their forums almost unbearable

    Because I don't even watch MLB the boring-to-hell-kicked-out-of-the-world-stage game, sir. How can I whine something I did not even see? Although I don't watch the game, I noticed MLB players wear long sleeves and don't expose their arms and legs as much as their NBA counterparts, so their tatoos are invisible. The other thing I noticed is most of them are steroidedly fat.

    I was talking about tattoos on players, and you squeezed race stuff in. Two different things.

    nba's a lot more classy now. Not that old but on YT looks players back then used to play real dirty and get into serious fights playing rough D. Besides young dudes like WB got fresh style. The game's alot more interesting with individuals. Seems what you want is that boring team bball like in college...

    From an individual standpoint, having tattoos obviously doesn't make someone low class. However, more people in the lower classes have tattoos than those in the middle and upper classes.

    Some of you people are ridiculous how you only pay attention to one aspect of the debate because your butthurt. You remind me of some of the over defensive customers i have to deal with.
    Just because some of you have tattoos doesn't mean this thread is targeting you or calling you trashy, as i said before its usually the people who have been known to have them (not majority) are douchy. Second why are you associating people with tattoos to this thread that have nothing to do with the nba?

    Again completely baseless and stupid. Show me some concrete information rather than your stereotypical viewpoint that doesn't even make any sense. Show me proof that most thugs have tattoos and almost no normal people do. Come on I am waiting.

    The NBA is so much changed than the previous years

    the rookies that come in, are more and more well-behaved, and the college rule is working. I would prefer 2 years, but 1 year is still good

    The entire culture of the NBA led by Kevin Love, Rubio,KD, Rondo(who has no tats), and others out there are showing that their is no thug culture anymore.. their are a few holdovers from that era, but they will be gone shortly

    Also Tim Duncan has tats, do you look at him as a thug.. never judge a book by its cover man


    You dont see NBA Players getting in trouble anymore like pre-2005 unless its on twitter

    Did you see Amare on ESPN yesterday, he didnt seem like a THUG to me

    I think these NBA Players know that they have the youngest demo in America for sports, and that kids are watching them

    you have kids crying about Nash leaving the Suns, or "the good job, good effort kid." These athletes know that they are not representing the NBA, but kids are watching them

    The Thug culture in 3 years will all be but gone
