I don't want to make this D&D bound, but please for the love of god respect the innocent men, women, and children who have lost their lives in this struggle and call this what it is, a heroic revolution for freedom, not a civil war. A civil war implies one inter-fighting between different elements of one society. This is a struggle for freedom where innocent civilians had to pick up weapons and fight a brutal barbaric terroristic sadistic regime after the world deserted us and left us high and dry.. The world should be absolutely ashamed of its embarrassing inaction toward this calamity. The least we could do is tip our hats to those heros and give them the respect they deserve.
Sovereign government vs. organized rebel factions, sounds like a civil war to me. You don't make peace with your allies, and you don't sign treaties or report facts with invective.
I don't think you understand the definition of Civil war and Revolution. Revolution: Civil War: The conflict is not black and white. You're just kidding yourself if you think it's just one side that is doing everything. http://www.nytimes.com/2012/08/10/w...s-cities-reel-from-war.html?pagewanted=2&_r=2
