don't you get that you never saw this series and are trying hard to pretend you know anything about the rockets?
dude, we ALL know about the refs. the Rockets have been dealing with it before your folks met each other. In 92, David Robinson hit a shot like 10 minutes after the buzzer went off and the Rockets got screwed over on home court advantage. In 94, Utah's clock operator didn't start the clock so the Jazz got free time to try to win. etc. There was bad refs yes. But it doesn't change the fact they were better than us. I even mentioned the refs back then. This is a quote by a poster you will never ever come close to even touching. From game 7

badlee, 1. you jumped into my conversation with another poster about contenders 2. i suspect you knew nothing of that Rockets team we were arguing about therefore I mentioned a 40 point loss in a game 7. 3. you confirmed you never saw this series or knew about it, because: a. you said "top two players were injured" -wrong b. never mentioned the Dallas Mavericks 4. Heavy evidence that you knew nothing about this series because: a. True Rocket fans HATE the Mavericks, this series was most recent they met in the playoffs b. the 40 point loss was one of the worst losses in Rockets playoff history c. You completely did not show any analysis on why the Rockets lost the series, bench players, coaching strategies, etc d. you mention NO PLAYERS from EITHER TEAM So you can reply all you want to me, you'll never catch up cause I know you want a high post count. You want to be DD JR without any entertaining qualities.

I came into the convo thinking it was the '09 playoffs you were talking about because, IIRC, they lost by a huge margin in that game 7 as well. Also, you have a wierd way of seeing what you want to see and not what others post. Finally, why in Texas would i show you analysis on a series that was fixed? Here, you want my analysis? The Rockets got jacked out of a series! That is all the analysis you need to know about a fixed playoff series.

Some fans are extreme on their views and there's this guy. You realize he thought last years team were going to win 2 championships in 5 years. Never mind he doesn't realize there's only been 2 championships in 40 years. And those teams had a player who's so good we could trade 4 teams of badlees rookies for and it would be unfair.
The game has evolved.... there are less and less superstar Centers around now all we can hope that we netted some allstar caliber players over time CoachBad being overly optimistic about the rookies but he is right about one thing....honoring history too much and never get over the history of the nineties is not a good way to plan for the future.... you have to let go and move on.

So are you saying that this upcoming season between Miami, San Antonio, the Lakers, and OKC that one of these teams isn't a true contender since their considered the #4 team in the NBA??? Please explain that one to me...
