It was going to be tough to follow Clinton, but I am a little disappointed by Obama.

A bit generic, but it's tough to pull off what Clinton did. Obama is doing what he needs to do.

His delivery definitely has an extra pep to it. A lot faster than he normally speaks.

Started slow, and I was a little worried that it was only going to be some red meat for the party faithful, it but really picked up in the middle and then turned inspirational.

    4 more years.

The inspirational part was all empty rhetoric. I felt like I was at a church being preached too.. just keep recycle the words.. hope .. change.. future.. americas future.. our kids.. generations .. blah blah and raise your voice and have everyone cheer.. but then i guess most politcal speaches end that way and to be fair Romney's speech had parts like that too.. Obamas speech was very MEH... but i guess all he had to do was not mess up which he did

Joe and Barack both had strong speeches -- they didn't blow the roof off the stadium, but I don't think that is what they were looking for. Obama was definitely measured hitting key points without going overboard. They both kept me interested -- something that Romney and Ryan did not do.

The debates should be very interesting -- I think Biden's speech should give pause to those who think that Ryan is going to destroy him.

    Very Happy!

This was not a soaring speech and not meant to be. This was a summation of what we've done and what needs to be done. The choices for America could not be more clear! Mr Obama is the clear choice to move America forward.

He just needed to not f' up.
He did well though. A Definate B.

I honestly think he could have just put a chair out there for 30 minutes
    and he'd still win . . . .

Can you imagine if O would have come out with a chair, set it down, sat and gave his speech. :)

What, no basso, bigtexxx, commodore, tj, tall, ATW??? They're busy right now (1) reading Newsmax, Fox News, or other right-wing sites to try to find negative summations of the speeches; (2) not bothering to comment because they know the speakers at the DNC blew away anyone at the RNC save Condi, or (3) don't care enough to comment (but since they care every other time if it involves Obama, not sure about 3).

Cue the negative comments tomorrow in 3....2....1.....

I for one enjoy their silence and take it as unconditional surrender and acknowledgement of pure ownage. The force of reasonable thinking is too much for them to handle and has overwhelmed them completely.

don't even bother feeding the trolls. there is no point. and this is the bottom line: we have Obama. They are forced to support Romney. we have the last laugh in the end.
