Per the Texans Mobile App, the Battle Red Nike jerseys are now for sale in the team shop. They look nice, with subtle differences from last year. Most noticeable, there's no thick collar. Also, the sleeve stripe is thinner than the home/road jerseys I think. The numbers are no longer piped in blue, but now a grayish? Overall, I much prefer them the the thick collars.

Nike has 3 versions of their jerseys. The lower 2 don't have the thick collars. The top version, which is what the players wear, do. The top versions also have large neck holes and are really designed to be worn with pads and don't look very good without them. These must be one of the other versions which are designed to be worn more casually.

i believe the collars are "normal" on all the replicas, regardless of color. I think only the game jerseys have the thick collar.

Is it possible to contact the GoTexans store by phone or something to order one of these - or at least inquire about them? They are only available as 'custom orders' online (+$50) and are out of my size anyway... I live in San Antonio and can't justify the 8 hour roundtrip drive.

    Thanks!

where can i have my gf try on a womens cut texans jersey. she got a mario williams jersey for xmas. i told her he'd no longer be with the texans back then.

lets just say there is very little pride in wearing a jersey of an underachieving number one pick.

I'd think they would have them available in Academy, no?

If you're in Houston I know a guy that can get you a pretty sweet deal on one of those for her.

You cant compare Mario's track record to what Barwin has accomplished. Mario is the highest paid defensive player in NFL history...Barwin wont be close to that. And there is a reason for that.

Im also saying that the only chance we have of getting Barwin back is if he is injured. If he's not injured, zero percent chance we get him back. If he is injured, 25% we get him back.

That's cool though. I still think he's a good player. I like his personality on, and off the football field. He seems like a good dude.

Only thing that would make it suck would be if he went to the Cowboys, Titans, or any other of our division foes, lol.

That Reed jersey will be mine come next payday as well.

Never understood this attitude... why do you care? Just do what works for you and let other people decide what they like.
