Agreed. No knock on Lin, but Rondo is Rondo. Icing on the cake, the kid has been mentored by KG.

 

Even though Rondo got the triple double and the Knicks weren't the best team that night, the Knicks was leading in the last few seconds due to Lin's and Shumpert's heroics. If only Shumpert didn't get the technical (which was really dumb call by the officials) and the no call for KG's illegal screen, they probably would have won.

Anyways, this is really a non issue.

 

But Lin was mentored by J.R. smith and Carmelo Anthony, so you know his fade-aways are top notch.

And Jarred Jefferies taught him all the fundamentals, along with elite fundamentals.

Rondo is constantly overrated because people think having a lot of assists=running a good offense but the Celtics offense blows and Rondo's assists are inflated since he can't hit a jump shot to save his life.

Don't be fooled. Rondo is the best defensive PG in the league. Terrific rebounder who recently developed a mid range shot. He is now a formidable a triple double threat at any given night. As much as I dislike the guy, he is the best player in Celtics.

there is no doubt that rondo is a better player but he has also been in the league for 5-6 years. for him to make this comment on Lin who only started for 25 games is inappropriate at least.
