interesting, but i have to decline. I would've done Alonzo for McAdoo yesterday, but now that i have Cowens, i don't think i need another 4 with range and I prefer Durant over Glide.
Think it's crazy to say Robertson isn't in consideration for one of the best perimeter defenders of all time, Payton even said he tried to model his defense after Alvin. 1986 DPOY in one of the best eras and as a 6'3 guard. Best career steal rate of all time, best spg season ever, six All Defense teams and in countless rankings easily top 10.
Cooper is number 1. I think I'd rather take a player by his word than some supposed experts who sit their watching. You only know defense when someone is playing it in you. Cooper is number 1, Payton is also top 3 with Pippen.
Whatever, I pick Earl Clark "Bobby" Jones, 11x All Defense and considered as one of the best defensive PFs of the 70s/80s. Member of the Championship 76ers and 6th man of the year with them.
If I make a Robertson-Cooper-Bron-Jones-Walton/Admiral lineup it's the sickest defense ever assembled.
