Meh, still not what people see as their respective primes. Just see it as a bit off to take a shooting percentage that was over 6% higher than everyting else Magic ever had and then say it's his 3pt%.

You gonna tell me that Mcadoo would dominate guys like Malone, Barkley, Dirk, Rodman, Duncan, Mchale? That is half the teams right there. He would get dismantled. Sure he's good against scrubs. Paul Arizin made the Hall of Fame. Mican made it. It doesn't mean that much

magic actually won the mvp that year and was obvuiously 1st team all nba...

Goin by trophies, nominations and HOF Schayes would be one of the greatest ever but modern players would probably drop 50 on him every night. Don't go by HOF and awards, gotta see if the guy is suited for a modern game vs. stronger, taller athletic guys.

Your Drexler 3p% was from 95, not 92.

I'd be okay if we maybe use 33% for Magic, but nitpickin his one good year and sayin he would shoot that consistently seems off.

    malone yep he could...
dirk he couldnt defend but vice versa...
    rodman would be tough
    duncan is best ever
mchale is a great defender but its possible

for the record arizin is a beast, he invented the 'jump shot' and was a great passer hence the nickname pitchin paul arizin... mican, ehhh you can have him...

Yeah. I'm sure if I had Rodman, you would say the same. Arizin invented the jump shot. You know how broken the first jump shot would be?

idk why McAdoo wouldn't be good, tbh. Dirk wouldn't "dominate Malone" either.
But would McAdoo's arms be shorter? Would he be slower? Shooting range shrink? Those were his strengths.
His weaknesses on defense would remain, but I don't see why his strengths would go away.
I can see that argument with someone like Wes Unseld. But McAdoo seems like one of the few guys who could translate.
