Bill Clinton is a great speaker and a true professional. I hope he retires as a Rocket. :)

The guy has just given a loop LNG speech full of policy details (compared to most convention speeches) and managed to keep it interesting. He should teach political speech like Olajuwon teaches post play and charge money for it.

If he could run, Bill would beat Mitten like a rented mule.

It's refreshing to see a speech that goes into policy detail - and does it effectively. I don't know how voters will respond, but I love that he tried it. I also think it's a speech that very few people can pull off without being boring as all hell on TV.

His choice in chicks is questionable. He could easily have had some hot ones, like Marilyn Monroe.

Clinton is amazing. Not that I believed all he said, he probably doesn't either, but that is the point. He is a consummate advocate, whether he thinks the defendant to be guilty or not guilty, his defense will be just as effective. I know this, he presided over one of the best American economies ever and if he were running I would vote for him. But folks, face it, Obama is no Clinton, not even close. And even more importantly, Team Obama is not in the same league with Team Clinton, and that is the problem.

Fact check him, he won't be "overeaching"
Tee him up against the GOP and let the liar loose.

The Navy Seals killed Osama, and maybe Hillary Care was an example of over-reaching (public option and all), but the Affordable Care Act is a far cry from "socialized medicine." In my opinion it is way too insurance company friendly and will cost consumers dearly.

Yeah, it should have been single payer. Why isn't it?

In 50 years from now it will be like the social security act and the FDR new deal programs. Hopefully it becomes a single payer system. That is the only way to maintain costs. Whether you agree with it or not it will one of defining pieces of American legislation.

It screws 5% of the population to benefit 95% of the population.

Clinton is the Miami Heat. Obama is probably more of the Atlanta Hawks.

    Romney is the Charlotte Bobcats.

you here the silence tonight after Clinton's speech?

No TJ. No Basso. No Bigtexxx. They are busy scouring the blogs looking for something to grasp onto to post here. But there is nothing. It was a slam dunk from Clinton and the silence is deafening.

By far the best politician in my post-toddler lifetime. By far the smartest politician in my lifetime.

Clinton just eviscerated Ryan. Made him a joke. Drove the shiv in with a smile on his face and an "aw shucks" delivery.

Awesome speech. He looked younger than he has in years.

I suspect Ann Romney is somewhere screaming at the television that "you people will not decide this campaign!"
