didnt rashard lewis post a positive steroid test.. and smh there are more benefits from steroids than just getting big muscles.. both physical and mental, not to mention the effects it has on injury recovery..

The real reason why people claim to have lost interest in the NBA:
    The Miami Heat won.

Why do you guys rule out the possibility of steroids so much? I'm not gonna base my whole argument around this but it def makes you think.

I am also fed up with some things in the NBA, mainly superstar treatment and superteams and David Stern.

Nevertheless, I already bought the full-year NBA International league pass again.

I was actually not mad about miami losing, i never hated them and actually rooted for them so people would just shut up about it :(
Still i don't like the road the NBA is moving in. Miami was more then enough for a super team in the league, now its gone out of hand.

You say the players today are unnaturally muscular? Guys like Lebron, Wade, Blake Griffin, Dwight Howard etc are incredibly muscular because of the new technology and methods to their workouts. Just because players like them are muscular doesn't mean they are automatically using steroids. That is just ignorance. If they are indeed using steroids, the Nba drug test would have picked it up.

Is this an example of thread necromancy? Wait, you're telling me this WASN'T written in 1989? LOL!

Only one thing is wrong with the NBA. Its name is David Stern. Be careful when you walk over bridges. Or see the end of a rainbow.

Not even going to comment on the "thugs with tats" mentality... that thought process belongs in a different decade.

Superteams been around forever... There has always been less Superstars than teams which means there are only a select few teams that have been really good ... since FOREVER in the NBA. It actually was traditionally much worse than it is even today.

So back when Wilt was putting up the whole teams stats onto his own stat sheet all day that was the good ol' NBA? Back when the scoring champions were averaging 35+ PPG was the good ol' days?

I'm assuming you don't like the fact the Miami heat won. It's the only thing that can be somewhat related to all your points.

Also being "really muscular" is not a good thing in basketball (especially for the wing players you are trying to use as examples).

I've also lost "interests" in this thread so I'll move on now...

But see, none of that has anything to do with basketball.

The game is still fun to watch, i still enjoy rooting for my home team houston rockets. And i still enjoy every game i see, its pure entertainment.

You seem to caught up in what the nba players are like, like this is some sort of reality show. Who cares? I love the game, not the players. (except scola)

What are you talking about? This makes no sense. Tattoos have always been very visible because of NBA jerseys. Remember Allen Iverson?
Wade and Lebron have looked like that since they were 18-19 years old. I dont think they were roided at that age. They just matured physically earlier than most. Carmelo is not muscular, at all. If he is juicing, than he has the crappiest steroids ever illegally produced.
Your post is that of a helmet-wearing, windowlicker... Please don't post again...Ever...

Two of the dumber thoughts I've read on this board. So, congrats on that.
Also, how old are you? I don't see many educated adults really believing that people with tattoos are generally low-class trash.

LOL. Considerable advancements in nutrition and workout regiment from Jordan's time does not mean players are "steroided" out. While I don't doubt some players are possibly on some type of banned substance, I think the majority realize that the gains from taking these have minimal effect in basketball unlike in baseball or football.

If these douchebag, tatted up steroid using players (LeBron, Wade, Carmello, etc...) were on the Rockets this thread would never had been created and this OP would be sporting his James Rockets jersey while bragging about the mini pak of tickets he bought in the nosebleeds.
