A bit more but the impact won't really be that great considering there are literally only two good Asian NBA players in the history of the NBA.

I've got to be honest upon reading the title and seeing the words "reverse racism" I thought this was a pretty silly undercover troll/LOF thread, but now after reading this hilarious set of other threads my entire opinion of this person/girl/guy/not sure has changed. I have read "ICanDunkOnYao's post several times and the more I read it the more I laugh. That list is absolutely ridiculous, yet at the same time one of the funniest things I've ever seen in my life. I am close to pissing myself in disbelief of those threads....LMBO

Its how they ruined boxing, calling black or techincal boxers boring, they only wanna see slugfest. Many of them dont understand boxing is the sport to hit and not get hit. They are so new to boxing, and have ruined it because they think black people put up their fighters past where they should be....but once again... ITS NON-BLACKS WHO USUALLY MAKE THE ATG LIST

calling Ali, and many other black fighters of the past overrated.. they even will say that Willie Pep is the greatest boxer ever,

That wouldn't be considered reverse racism....it would just be considered "non-racism"

Yep. There's no such thing as "reverse-racism" -- it's an idiotic term. If you're judging someone based on their race, it's racism, regardless of who is judging and who's being judged.

Not reverse racism, but an undrafted PG like Machado probably wouldn't get a three year deal if not for the success of Lin and the consequence. Just like there wouldn't be a Gil Arenas rule in place if not for the 2nd round pick success of Gil Arenas.

Race doesnt determine how youplay the game. Asian players may make it more marketavle to asian people but race is not an issue

I prefer 'positive racism'. Like Asians are good at math. Not necessarily true, but it's a nice thing to be good at math. Mexicans are family people. Not all of Mexicans are, but it's a nice thing to say. Black people are funny. I have yet to meet a black person that couldn't make me laugh, but I'm sure there is someone out there. White people are wealthy. Again, not true for all cases, but being wealthy is a good thing. Canadians say eh'. A lot do, true, but I have canadian family that never touches the word. The point is, I am racist. Wait, no, that's not the point. I am a positive person. Yeah, but still a racist b*stard. Wait no, that's not the point at all.

The point is scouts should only scout asian players because they are better than other races. Wait, no. That doesn't make sense.

Seriously though, why in the hell are we talking about race? Jeremy Lin is a solid basketball player. Who cares what color the fella is? Oh wait, everyone cares. Maybe that's the problem?

Will racism ever die or am I going to have to live with it for the next 93 years?

Racism is a symptom of ignorance, and ignorance is (proving to be) an incurable disease.

Didn't know Jeremy Lin's success was going to lead to an uprising in the Asian community against white America.

"Reverse racism is a term which refers to racial prejudice or discrimination directed against the traditionally dominant racial group in a society. It is sometimes used as a pejorative description of systems which discriminate in favour of members of racial minorities, more formally known as reverse discrimination or affirmative action."
