He is on 7-9 today, not sure if thats long term goal but i cant stand those football guys nd and greg, something about their voice. I switch it. i sadly preferred dylan. sure he says some ridiculous off the wall things but do you seriously think he means them?

Those are exactly the type of shows he has. He can't take heat very well, he blocked me on Twitter, because I threw some constructive criticism his way.
I noticed that as well. During the summer (09? 10?) when Ben Roethlisberger had allegedly assaulted that girl in the bathroom, he talked about that topic at length (I'm talking several segments per day) for weeks after it happened. Finally, a caller or emailer chimed in and asked why he wasn't talking about local sports topics or at least something else. Gwinn's response was that he didn't want to lose listeners and that's why he led with Ben Roethlisberger. What's funny is that I feel like that's precisely why so many people dislike his show. Unless something has changed (I haven't listened to a single second of his show in well over a year), he basically hosts a national show on a local station and says ridiculous things to bait the crazies that call into sports talk radio shows. And yet, he feels that that's what we want to hear.
I hadn't heard sports radio in a couple of weeks but can anyone confirm that ND and Greg are on from 10-12 from now on? I heard them today and saw this thread so if so that's a smart call by 790. Dylan Gwinn is not good.
I don't mind Dylan but I don't understand why he does his gimmicky/annoying voice. When you speak in a annoying voice people will get annoyed and tune out. I'm no radio expert but I'd have to think that is true...
I don't get it either. Whenever he talks to Matt Thomas before his show, he sounds normal and is actually somewhat listenable. But the yucking it up voice just makes him unbearable.

Already posted? ‘Mighty Gwinn’ moving to 1560 AM Dylan Gwinn, who has hosted midday and evening talk shows on KBME (790 AM) since 2010, will move to David Gow’s Yahoo! Sports Radio next week. Gwinn will host Yahoo!’s weekend shows from noon to 4 p.m., beginning March 2. The program will be heard on KGOW (1560 AM) and about 95 stations nationwide. “I’ve always wanted to do national radio, and this could not be a better opportunity for me,” Gwinn said. “I love it here and my family is here, so this is the best of both worlds.” Gwinn also will do fill-in work for other network hosts as required. “We’re thrilled to have him,” said Craig Larson, the network’s program director.
