Out of those I'd probably take Meachem simply because he's starting and Rivers will have to air it out. I think Jeffrey has the most promise, but he's going to need time to work his way into the lineup, and Marshall and Cutler are bosom buddies.

Have no idea what to expect from the Rams receivers. Too many options and it seems unlikely one guy will emerge. Bradford needs to prove he can shake off the cobwebs from last season first.

Randle is unproven and Ramses Barden looked like he might be the new #3 there, he made some nice catches in the preseason.

Manningham I don't project will be much of a fantasy option. Just don't see anyone from the Niners passing attack putting up consistent numbers.

Robinson was money for me last season, but I have zero confidence in him being a factor in Jacksonville. I wouldn't touch him with a ten foot pole.

Is anyone else desperate enough to possibly start Ronnie Brown while Mathews is out? Only other 3rd RB options are DeAngelo and Toby.

    Pick one to replace AP:

    BJGE @ Baltimore
    Donal Brown @ Chicago
    Shonn Greene vs Buffalo

I already have someone in place but want to see what you guys come up with.

Had our draft party last night, ended up with

    Drew Brees
    Jay Cutler

    Brandon Marshall
    Steve Smith (CAR)
    Dwayne Bowe
    Jeremy Maclin
    Darius Heyward-Bey

    Jamaal Charles
    Frank Gore
    Beanie Wells
    Ben Tate

    Rob Gronkoski
    Jason Witten

    Shayne Graham

    Houston
    New York Jets

    Thoughts on who I should start? I need 1 QB, 3 WR, 2 RB, 1 TE, 1 flex (WR/RB/TE)

is David Wilson (NYG) still available in your league?
Bradshaw is (always) nicked, so he might provide more upside than the options you presented.

    No Wilson.

Although someone offered me David Wilson and Greg Little for Antonio Brown. Idiots.

if thats the case, Greene has the best match-up and smells of the least suck.

BJGE is going to have to pray for goal-line touches against Bal to put up any pts

D Brown is a bad RB, on a worse team against a good Def on the road. maybe hope for trash time pts if that one gets out of hand quickly?

Thanks. I think Brown will surprise a lot of people with his running ability, only problem he may have is staying healthy. And trust me (I'm no Indy fan) but the Colts team from last year won't be the same team this year and not just because of Luck.

I concur on the Law Firm, he's gonna have a tough task in penetrating that Ravens D. (Good thing Swoly doesn't visit this portion of the forum)

I have Donald in place but was maybe leaning towards Greene because the Bills run D was awful last season, then I started thinking how much they improved that side of the ball, so I'm still up in the air.

And BTW for your dilemma I'd go Demaryius and DeSean.

Thomas and Jackson of course. Always play the better players. Also, I think DJax has a big bounce back year this year. I wish I owned him. He's so sick.

Nate Washington was the best of the 4 last season.

I agree with you about Djax though. Assuming Haden's suspension holds up, DJax should be a monster on Sunday.

as an owner of DJax last year. I am a bit pessimistic on what to expect as a return...but it was a good value pick.

this is why I was leaning towards Washington at first, until I read Locker won the starting job. I will take a wait and see approach for Week 1

DJax was playing scared last year. He will be fine as long as he stays healthy, and you can live with him being somewhat feast or famine.

Jake Locker has 4 career TD passes. Nate Washington has been on the receiving end of every one of them. Washington actually caught more TDs from Locker than he did from Hasselbeck last season.

They should be passing against NE, he'll be Locker's #1 target, and that is why I like him this week. I think Thomas has the potential to be an absolute beast this season (AJ type numbers), but I want to see him with Manning first. I really think all 3 guys score this week.

that is a pretty convincing argument for Washington.

to me Thomas still seems like the most sure thing, though. Manning made a believer out of me in the preseason.
