Before my parents got married, their first date was at Tookies. That was about 30 years ago.

Had Jerry Built the other week. I must say, as a fast food burger, it's probably among the best I've had. Organic and locally grown ingredients, Three Bros Bakery buns, Blue Bell ice creams shakes. Good stuff imo.

I was definitely more impressed by it than In N Out.

Miller's on North Shepard is the most ridiculous burger I've had. Dripping in ooze. I needed like 15 napkins.

    It was amazing.

Next place I need to try is Lankford.

Just got back from M&M Grill.....Damn. Couldn't even finish my double cheeseburger, topped with 3 slices of turkey bacon, fried egg and pico (and all the other fixins). Left with a third of that burger and my friends half eaten mushroom swiss. Amazing burgers for the price. Would hit again.

I went to Miller's Cafe twice and the patty on the first time was noticeably bigger than the 2nd time. Someone commented on yelp that they might have changed where they get their patties from. Oh well, Brother's Pizza is a couple of doors down and Petrol Station is also nearby.

guess i have more pedestrian tastes, because i've been to some of the higher reviewed places, & the fancy burgers are good, but at the end of the day I just prefer a basic whataburger.

Unless it's something that's no longer technically a hamburger, like when I go to beck's prime I get their ribeye steak sandwich. Chains have nothing to compete with that of course, or their shakes.

Never had a worse burger in my life then Counter.

Bread falling apart, to the burger having absolutely no flavor whatsoever. Overall I would give it a 1/10.

Most days I steer clear of 20$ burgers and fries (burger guys) and grab a nice whataburger.

Christians is my fav too... the one on 10 and Wescott. I've gone to the others, but that one is by far the best.

    I've yet to try Lankford.

Whataburger is not good... better than most fast food burgers, but if I'm going to eat a thousand calorie burger with 20 grams of sat fat, I'd rather get something with real flavor.

Lankford has to be one of the greasiest burgers ever. I'm guessing they use 70/30 to make their patties. Probably one of the biggest burgers as well. Heart attack waiting to happen.

The guy at owns tbone toms bought it. It's still like it used to be and they fixed it up some (added a bar area and back deck). Supposedly they are going to open a seafood restaurant next door
