My wife JUST bought me one. I took one look at it and immediately caught the whole "AFC/AFL" mistake. The "Texans/Titans" issue? Eh . . . screw the Titans. That was HOUSTON's title! I plan to keep that shirt. Hope to wear it to a game sometime in the near future.
Not so peeved at being mistaken for a good team by a pretty great owner, kind of thinking the Old Navy would be ticked at the oversight considering the licensing fees, but I guess as a manager you weigh that against both the size of their clothing line and I guess what has to be a crazy disjointed supply chain. Shouldn't be doing sports stuff anyways, could be a much higher quality brand.
Sister's BF works at Old Navy...he has this shirt! I think they asked them to pull it, but his store manager is keeping it on the shelves...
That's effin terrible. But I guess it could be a good gift for a Titans fan about to make the bandwagon jump.
Want one of them asap Anyone know an Old Navy in H-town still selling em? Old Navy has taken them offline so can't order them anymore.
If you want to go on a technicality, the Texans technically did win the 1962 AFL Championship... the Dallas Texans.
