They are no doubt, but IMO you need a guy who is a bonifide star. A BIG star. A top 10 player. Maybe even top 15.

The difference is like 4.5 million. I'm only 2.5 million under the cap. So I need just over 2.

I like Afflalo a little more. Even though JR Smith IRL with Kevin Garnett and Dirk would be a great fit. Smith could play the Jason Terry role I guess.

Interested in pairing KD with Westbrook, Nash, Rondo, or D Rose. anyone willing to trade, basically whole team can be had except KD.

You are over the cap if you give him 3 mill. You cannot go over 65mill if you give him 3 mill

It also looks a bit slow-ish in transition offensively and defensively, but very good offensively in the halfcourt. Probably the best in that sense. Spacing is very good, and Kidd can still pass, so can Pau. Paul Pierce can just post up almost any SF / shoot. Very hard to defend up-front for anyone. And Pau would find open shooters a lot. Nothing would really stop that halfcourt offense, not even Bluffkin's team...

Main problems are on defense, imo. Transition, backcourt defense.
Kidd is slow-ish, Afflalo has defensive talent but he didn't put much effort into it last year. But if he's the 4th option on offense, maybe he would...
Not sure if there's enough rim protection up front. Though Pau is loooong and smart, so maybe.
