They're decent. But does Andre villa boas (their manager) know how to manage in England? Sucked at Chelsea and at tottenham so far not much better.

They'll be competing with Arsenal IMO for the 4th spot.

Wow, all that needs to happen is for Borini to get injured and Suarez to call someone the spanish N word, and Liverpool will be in serious danger.

Don't understand why Rodgers didn't get any forwards. Hell I'm against getting Dempsey, but dude was only $6mil and he's better than nothing. We sold Adam for $4, so that's only $2mil extra. I expect John Henry to not be OK with this and call Rodgers out.

Good enough to be Nash's favorite team:

Well Fulham accepted the 6 mil pound bid from Spurs but rejected the same offer from Liverpool.

Then Fulham accepted the 7 mil pound bid but Rodgers did not get that bid approved by the board because the board would not want to buy 29 years old player with no sell on value

so it should be Rodgers calling John Henry out

Is that what happened? Then it's understandable that the original 6mil was rejected just so Fulham can stick it to Rodgers who created this whole Dempsey mess. That aside, why didn't Rodgers have any other plans? If they were going after Sturridge then that means they must have had the funds for plan B, C and D.

But at least Allen and to a lesser extent Sterling has worked out. And Sahin looks promising. That's much much much more than the total waste Kenny did (with the exception of Suarez).

No one mentioning Essien to Real? Good move, giving them even more depth.

I've always thought Essien was mediocre at best. If I were a Chelsea fan I'd want him and Mikel to get a steppin.

Is Essien cup tied for the CL?

    They only offered 3 mil.

Aston Villa made a 7 mil offer but Dempsey rejected the move. Spurs paid 6 and Dempsey will be the highest paid American soccer player ever.

I've always liked Tottenham...not as much as I've been a fan of ManU...but I'll certainly be following them more from here on.

Essien was my favorite player for chelsea an was a beast up until a couple years ago. Injuries killed his career

Anyone watching the QPR v City game?

They're new team isn't so bad. Too bad City just has too much talent. Tevez is impressive.

You probably didn't see him in action prior to his injuries the last couple of seasons. And not just with Chelsea. He was a BOSS!
Also, Mikel is one of the most underrated holding mids in the game. Chelsea have no one ready to replace him. Romeu was s'posed to do it I believe but he's not ready. Chelsea wouldn't want Essien or Mikel to get a steppin right about now. What they need to do is make that Hulk or Falcao move happen.

Everyone from the LFC side had a horrible game, with the exception of Sterling. Dude is the real deal and he's only 17. I question Rodger's transfer (or lack thereof) decisions for the forward position, but nothing a smart transfer window or two can't fix.

I suspect Rodgers will be drilling passing and first touch skills until the whole team vomits in the morning. You can tell the team was still uncomfortable with their new style. Again Rodgers is like trying to make apple pie with a banana. This team is not meant for tiki taka, they'll need new players. I hope Henry will drop the cash next time.

Nothing to panic about, though. Arsenal had an even worse start last season and they ended up doing well. Liverpool will come through by the end of the season.

713 will regret not following LFC in a couple of seasons.

Man I am so pissed at the performance they put on today. There is no movement outside of RVP and Valencia. Everyone is just walking around not caring about the game at all. Thank God for RVP...
