Rondo expects to pwn Jeremy Lin

    Nothing wrong with Rondo calling out Lin. It's nice to see someone think they are going to win it all and be confident. Personally, I don't like Rondo. I think the Celtics are overrated and Pierce and Garnet are getting too old to play at a high level for an entire season and postseason.

    The Knicks, Sixers, and Nets are probably going to be better than them. As the season progresses the old guys will breakdown. They could very likely finish 3rd in their division and maybe even 4th. Then again the C's could find the fountain of youth.

    As for them beating us and Rondo out playing Lin, it will probably happen.

    There are a lot of black players in the league that truly feel it's the ultimate disrespect to be schooled by someone non-black....

    I mean no one ever wants to get beat....but it's somehow the worst thing that could possibly happen in their lives....and they will go out of their way to try and make sure it doesn't happen. KG is the not only the founder....but a member as well....

    ....just the way it is. Cultural more than racist...almost.

    There are a lot of black players who buy into this notion of basketball being a black man's game. It's symbolic of one of the few areas in which african americans completely dominate. Any threat to this near-monopoly on financial and symbolic value is met with violent opposition. It's just sad, but that's part and parcel of living in a racist culture.

    This is a really big assumption you are making considering that you don't know any of these players personally. Derrick Rose, KD, Russel Westbrook had nothing sent nothing but praise Lin's way. Do these same black players get insulted when Nash takes them to school or when Kidd manhandles them? Come on man. This is getting to much.

    So what? He probably will and (being one of the top PGs in the league) he should shut Lin down.

    Thank you for your opinion. Actrually, my classmates call me 'Olajuwon' in 1990. (I'm 5 ft 10 in and always grab over 10 rebounds in a b game.) Who is ClutchFans? If you don't like my post, please pass the thread.
    I like Rondo very much, he just be here near my home last week.

    Everyone have the right to support Lin. If you don't like my way, it's ok.
    Someone feel it's joke, but you are serious not. I watched NBA before Olajuwon era. At that time I can't spell any English word.
    I never join a forum in English before and type so many in English.
    After Lin leave Taiwan, I will post seldom then you will be happy.

    And...

    for(c=1;c<=10000;c++){
      echo "Jeremy Lin is a miracle!";
      echo "Houston wins the Title!<br>";
    }

    My 2nd thought on this issue.
    It's good for Lin. No pain, no gain.

    Their run depended on Rondo shooting out of his mind and becoming basically the best pg on the planet. Rondo's like a career 30% FG shooter from the three then he started burying everything he put up. IMHO its just a fluke, Trevor Ariza had a similar crazy hot streak during hte Laker's playoff run then he reverted back to his former self during the next season.

    Really how do you? :eek:

    I've just registered to ask this question.

    There must be something wrong about assuming the length of anything one has presumably never seen (it just seems worse than any stereotype regarding a capability or interest based on race)...
