Samsung is probably trying to find as many creative ways as they can to give phones away since, you know, Apple probably won't let them sell them anyway.

i'm sure this will make it easier for samsung to piledrive apple to oblivion.

samsung should have just ponied up the cash for palm's patents when it had the opportunity (the actual smartphone patent) and all this would be irrelevant.

 

LTE is a standard........any patents that Samsung has for LTE should be governed by FRAND.

 

should be. doubtful that apple will agree to licensing terms.
