harden and granger, both are balanced offense and defense players, but i won't give up too much for them

Curry is the only one I really like, Harden costs too much and we have Lamb.

I say Smith and Granger only because Harden is going to demand the max and im not completely sold on him after he didnt show up in the playoffs

Your not sold on him are you serious? Harden played great for every round of the playoffs but the finals. Plus it was his first finals to and the guy is only like 23. Fan's are ridiculous.

    This one's too easy.

    Harden/J. Smith

Both stay relatively healthy for the most part, which can't always be said of the other 2 and on top of that they both play above average and some on the offensive and defensive ends of the floor.

Is anything on Clutchfans ever too easy???

Anyway, I think most people agree the athletic big man (J.Smith) and the efficient scorer (J.Harden) are the 2 worth taking a flyer on, considering they are light years better than anything we've had on our team (at those positions) for awhile. And especially when you throw in the fact that James Harden has the potential to get better.

Also I find it very ironic and downright homer-ism/rockets bias, that there are people on this board who think that after seeing a 25 game stretch Jeremy Lin can be great for us, yet after seeing 3 seasons worth they don't think the James Harden can be??? Please keep in mind (those that think J.Lin has a high ceiling and J.Harden doesn't) that Jeremy Lin is OLDER than James Harden!!!!

i am not sold on him either. i think paying harden max money is absolute insanity. some desperate team is going to the pay the guy max money, i just pray is isn't the rockets. if the guy gets max money, i think it will quickly become one of the worst contracts in basketball.

i am also not a fan of harden. i hate watching the guy play because he flops more than mitt romney. if someone looks at harden, he falls down.

Harden is better than Lin and will end up better than Lin. Still doesn't mean he's the star that everyone on here thinks he is. Just means that anybody that comes to the Rockets gets overrated by the fans. Harden is good at what he is. A third wheel.

so who is the best playmaker on the team since he's a third wheel? Manu comes off the bench and plays the same role, so what. Harden is playing next to two of the BEST PLAYERS in the league. Stop acting like he's the third wheel on a team with two average players....
