Samsung gave away custom made S3 to fan

I'm gonna do the same thing with Toshiba. But they don't have a cell

 

Kudos to their marketing team. They got way more advertising than a 500 dollar phone.

 

Yeah, some intern, agency, or pudgy chick just got a bonus.

 

I'm surprised at all the custom **** on that thing. Custom box, custom back, custom faceplate with a somewhat fitted wallpaper - to anybody in manufacturing or design, are all those that easy to do?

 

Don't know about the phone, but getting a custom box is pretty easy and probably very cheap.

 

As far as the box goes yes it would be literally just be copy and pasting a image on top of the box. Assuming they already have a template of the original box it would be effortless.
Everything else I'm not sure.

 

Word on the Twitter wire is that Apple is going to sue Samsung over this, saying that it gave out the first free cell phone.

Samsung makes $2.05 Billion dollars every 2 days.... I gotta marry someone in that family.

 

Love my iPhone, but that was an awesome comment.

And this was a great move by Samsung. Whatever they spent--even if it was 1000 times the normal price of the phone--will be the biggest advertising bargain they've ever gotten.

 

Not only was the original facebook post going viral huge publicity, but them taking the next step and giving the phone away for free putting them back into the spotlight....amazing marketing.

Whoever drew that picture of the animal on the unicycle should get an awesome raise.

 

Thanks to this, this paints Samsung as the victim and Apple as douchebags.
Great move by Samsung. Maybe this will make it easier for Google to piledrive Apple into oblivion.
