For the record, it took the Falcons 13 seasons to make the playoffs. It took the Saints 21 seasons...and another 13 to win a playoff game. I've heard "worst expansion team ever" thrown around quite a bit over the last few years. Sorry, it's just not true.

I'm not a Texans fan. If it wasn't for Steve Patterson (Former Rockets GM), they wouldn't exist. I was there in the same building they were conceiving your beloved Texans. I don't live there anymore, but Vince Young does. Vince Young loves Houston yet non-UT alumni Texan fans hate him. As far as I'm concerned he did alright in his career. He had some very exciting games, especially against the Texans. He didn't manage his off the field and money right, but that's a familiar story for many athletes.
It's truly a shame that he couldn't manage his business on the field either, that was the one thing he was talented at.
If I bury this in a post any deeper, tinman will overlook it again. I'll make it extra big for him too: No one hates Vince Young. Most people's issues with Vince Young have very little to do with Vince Young himself.
I agree with this. It's not UT hate either outside of rival schools. You don't see anyone ripping apart Kevin Durant, Ricky Williams, Ced Benson, Jamal Charles. Even Roy Willliams got support when he came in here for a workout. After reading some of this thread there's no question in my mind his nuthuggers brought the majority of trash talking on themselves. Outside of a few, I highly doubt anyone actually is happy that VY failed and is broke. I think it''s more just trash talk. At least i hope that's the case.

VYOF want to make this about UT. funny, i don't seem to hate any other players that are UT alums. i'm sure it had nothing to do with them trolling every Texan thread or all the claims of how much of a fail organization the Texans are for not drafting him. Some of them had the arrogance to proclaim the Texans were doomed forever JUST because they didn't draft VY. now 90% of them don't even show up. i'm rubbing it in the faces of those who gave Texan fans **** when he was playing. i laugh at VY's NFL career. i feel sorry for VY the person.
After the first year the Texans looked like idiot. David Carr was not the answer, and Mario wasn't looking too hot either, and VY had just come of a ROY and probowl season. Stop using revisionist history. Its like people saying tmac always sucked for the rockets. He didn't. He was pretty good until his body broke down.
That's our point. Read the thread dude. It's filled with people hating on VY himself, not caring he is from Houston and even acknowledging it's irrational. Also not everyone who likes vy is a "VYOF" as you call it.
