i'd just start Kidd. Jennings is a solid 6th man. or just cut Jennings or Kidd and get one of the pass-first point guards still available. Still at least 2 solid ones on the board.
could still do it. take my deal, saves you ~3 mil right away. find away to unload the other one to someone for a small contract. cut the other one. ~5 mil. then you have enough to take that other point guard
Here's my quicky I like the melo/terry combo. Lacks some defense but both are great Clutch shooters. west/Gasol is an odd mix. John wall still make rookie mistakes but he has just amazing handles.
great tools offensively, great shooters, great post ups, but the team lacks that great decision maker / passer to utilize all of those tools. defensively, 1-2 is quite weak. not a problem if 3-4-5 is like bluffkin's defensively. your 3-4-5 is solid defensively, but not at that level (but more gifted offensively). overall, i'd say above average defensively, above average offensively, but lacks a few skill sets to be elite at anything.
smallish at some positions. very strong up front. Gasol/West/Melo can all out muscle almost everyone at their position. Bench is very solid. Frontcourt clearly the strength. I'm a bit biased re West because I'm a Pacers fan, I just see him as one of the toughest, smartest PFs in the game both offensively and defensively. A great leader. Probably would prefer a better athlete next to Gasol, but they can just out-tough and out-muscle most opponents Grizzlies-style. Won't be a great fastbreak/transition team, which is a shame, because that's Wall's strength.
