I don't think Dempsey is good enough to force a move to any top club. 29 isn't young, he's in his prime. It's a shame because Fulham just thrashed Norwich 5-0, he could just stay.

If anything he should try for a move to Swansea. I don't understand what's going on over there. They lost their manager and two of their best players to Tottenham and Liverpool, yet goals seem to come easy for them.

I watched their game this past weekend against West Ham. That was much more about how horrible West Ham is than how good Swansea is. They are playing well...but will be lucky to finish in the top half of the league when they start playing teams not named QPR and West Ham.

I think a couple of good buys would put Swansea in the top half. Another couple of decent buys in the next off season would put them as a regular in the top half like Everton (if not better). Dempsey could be one of them. I see Dempsey as a good attacking player for a mid table team.

I am a huge Manchester United supporter, always have been from my early days watching a few games at Old Trafford while on vacation. I have a question for those more familiar with Houston.

Is there a Manchester United supporters group here where they gather to watch games at a bar? I understand that most league games are in the AM for us but still curious....

Not sure if there's a supporters group but I know fans flock to places like Richmond Arms and to a lesser extent, Bar Munich.

    I'd try there.

Yeah I'm talking to myself but that backheel to himself by Ronaldo was unreal! Damn, Son!

It'll be nice to see something besides baseball on Sportscenter Top 10.

Well, thanks to Valdes' mental fart last game and The back line's **** this game we lose. Messi did all he could.

That said Valdes was brilliant this game. Could have been 5 in the first half.

Yep. He had to fend off the wolves all by himself. Adriano? Waste of ****ing money. Machi? I have no idea what happened today. Pique? Pwnd by CR7 straight up. Alba? Did he even play? Ugh

Song better bring it and please come back soon Abidal!!!

Congratz Madridistas well deserved victory. So much wrong in the first 30 mins for Barca, I find myself questioning lots of decisions made by Villanova.

Xavi said Alves got hurt right before the game and that left Tito scrabbling to warm up Alba. I'm not liking the Adriano and Tello experiment but it's still a young season. Hell, it's only been 2 weeks.

Don't worry, Barcelona still have a commanding 5 point lead in La Liga, that's virtually uncatchable.
