I've been w/ the Galaxy S3 for about a week now. Awesome phone as reported everywhere else. Love the big screen and thinness. I actually have more trouble telling if it's still in my pocket compared to the Droid Inc! That screen looks tiny now compared to the S3. It's like IMAX vs a digital watch screen.

My concerns have stayed the same but overall a major and very welcome upgrade.

Soon the Note 2 will be released and yes it will be mine. Rumors are that it will be bigger at 5.5 inches, quad core, and overall kick assedness will ensue over the cell phone universe.

Waiting for that as well. A phone is a productivity tool for me and need the real estate. Just hopes it fits into my pocket.

    http://www.tmonews.com/2012/07/so-about-that-htc-era-42-its-the-htc-one-x-for-t-mobile/

So, About That HTC Era 42…It’s The HTC One X+ For T-Mobile

Update: We’ve just been dropped a line from Taylor of Androidandme fame telling us that the “plus” sign relates to the Tegra 3 plus, meaning this One X for T-Mobile will have a 1.7GHz processor. How about them apples?

There are times when I’m glad to be wrong, and it’s not that I’m actually wrong in hypothesizing that the HTC Era 42 could have turned out to be the G3 for T-Mobile, there were some hints along the way to help get me there. Instead, I’m happy to say that we’ve been able to confirm with at least a small level of certainty that the HTC Era 42 is in fact the HTC One X+ for T-Mobile.

So, about that “plus” sign after the X — yeah, I have no idea what that means. Perhaps it’s just a way to differentiate the device name from AT&T, or perhaps it has something to do with HSPA+, we truly don’t know. What we do know is that all the stars are aligning for the HTC One X to launch on T-Mobile, a rumor we almost entirely forgot about.

Thankfully, hose rumors from late February are now being proven right, some five months later as the HTC One X+ is destined for T-Mobile in September. Get your wallets ready.

If HTC didn't skin their phones with Sense and upgrading them wasn't such an issue, I'd get this. Instead, I'm waiting for later in the year when several Nexus phones are rumored to launch.

No, I haven't rooted any of my Android phones yet and don't want to take the chance.

My HTC Sensation received OTA update to ICS at least 2 months earlier than my friends' SII

Yea, I have HTC Sensation too.

My personal preference is giving my money to a smaller company...I really want them back into some good profit numbers..

They were one of the first companies that delivered touch screen phones...at the start of this whole smartphone saga they were the innovators and then Samsung caught up.

I really want the Note, which is also going to be available on TMobile in a few weeks, but my heart says HTC.

    You on jellybean yet?

I've had it for a month.

Never owned an HTC but they definitely make a solid product. I actually don't mind Sense. The original EVO will go down as one of the al-time best phones IMO. Really ahead of the curve, but the competition caught up at warp speed.

I wish HTC would make another Nexus. The Nexus ONE was one of the best phones I've ever owned.

That T-mobile ONE X sounds cool but JellyBean kills ICS in terms of fluidity and speed.

Nope. I'm not sure if HTC will update it to jellybean for my Sensation.

Also HTC has 2 years warranty.

I'm up for an upgrade in September....which I still can't believe is right around the corner. Damn this year went by fast.

Not sure what to get. I was thinking about the new evo.....but the New Nexus phones sound enticing.

it is indeed a pretty phone, but i have a feeling that s3 owners stateside will get "skyrocketed" (see galaxy s2 skyrocket for at&t last year). wouldn't surprise me if samsung brought the true s3 (quad core) here to the states since there is a lte-friendly variant already available in korea.

Yeah, but if you live life that way you'll never be able to make a phone or TV buying decision. There's always something better around the corner. The quad core GS3's aren't much better than the US ones if at all - which is surprising. I believe we got an extra gig of RAM.

    Do want

Processing power and RAM alone does it for me. I want it. Screw this SIII.

Ridiculous phone by Samsung. I'm not ready to upgrade yet but just wow!

I'm still hoping the Nexus phone(s) coming later this year will take it up another notch.
