Gronk, Welker, Lloyd, Hernandez Jennings, Nelson, Finley, Cobb, Jones Dropoff between #2QB's fantasy ppg to the #5 = I don't know, a bunch though. Dropoff between #2RB TD's to the #5 fantasy ppg = I don't know, probably not much.
Call me crazy but I like Romo. But that may only be what I've been seeing - he isn't going until after Cutler, Roethlisberger, Griffin.
The difference between Brady/Rodgers/Brees/Newton/Stafford? Not that much. Take our PPR league last year: Brees - 505.38 Rodgers - 489.21 Brady - 453.89 Stafford - 433.74 Newton - 412.85 Rice - 398.08 McCoy - 343.40 Foster - 329.85 MJD - 319.00 Sproles - 309.03 (somehow went late in the 3rd freaking round this year) I think 2011 was a product of a strike shortened offseason.
Forgot about Newton actually. I wouldn't draft the guy in one of the wild 6 point passing TD systems though. And Sproles was a wildcard nobody drafted until late last year anyways. QB's for the most part you know what you're getting. RB's are all over the map. Also you start 1QB and 2-3RB's. Go look at the differences in fantasy points per game in deeper ranges. RB8-15.
Just finished my draft, what do you think? 10 team league, standard scoring with 6 pts for all TD's Here's the order I drafted them in: TICKLE MY PICKLE 6 Drew Brees, NO QB 15 Matt Forte, Chi RB 26 Adrian Peterson, Min RB 35 Jordy Nelson, GB WR 46 Doug Martin, TB RB 55 Dwayne Bowe, KC WR 66 Demaryius Thomas, Den WR 75 DeAngelo Williams, Car RB 86 Pierre Garcon, Wsh WR 95 Donald Brown, Ind RB 106 Owen Daniels, Hou TE 115 Darrius Heyward-Bey, Oak WR 126 Packers D/ST D/ST 135 Randy Moss, SF WR 146 Alex Smith, SF QB 155 Shayne Graham, Hou K
I like what you did until the last 3 rounds. And I would have went Greg Olsen or Jared Cook over Daniels.
Yeah, I let my fandom get in the way a bit with the OD pick. Don't feel great about the Moss pick either, but decided to take a chance.
Ten team league, two keepers from last season. QB: Brady (keeper) RB: MJD (keeper - couldn't bring myself to choose someone else...probably a mistake) RB: AP WR: Steve Smith (Car) WR: Jordy Nelson WR: Miles Austin (hoping for health) TE: Tony Gonzalez K: Rob Bironas Def: 49ers Bench: A. Dalton, P. Hillis, B. Tate, R. Moss, C. Fleener and Garret Graham (yeah, I know). If MJD really extends this thing out, I'm probably screwed.
I am in 2 money leagues. 10 man league standard rules. (20 dollar ) Qb-Romo Rb-cjohnson Rb- f Jackson Rb/wr- s Jackson Wr- b. Lloyd Wr- d. Jackson Te- Gronk D- Texans K- Bailey 12 man league standard rules. (50 dollar) Qb- Brady Rb-f jackon Rb- b. Wells Wr/rb- antone brown Wr- l fitzgerald Wr- m colston Te- cook D- 49ers K- Bailey Hopefully everyone can stay healthy.
Not overly keen on mine, was a 12 team league and i had 11th pick. As none of my preferred QB's were available i took Chris Johnson in 1st round and then resorted with Tony Romo later on. Ideally i want to get a 2nd strong RB and i think thats where i let myself down. Will have to watch the waiver wire closely for which im 2nd in line. First fantasy draft by the way so i guess it could have gone worse! Free league. I also didnt realise Jason Witten was injured but i still think he'll see a good amount of the season, and i have Hernandez. QB Tony Romo/Matt Schaub RB Chris Johnson/Stevan Ridley/Michael Bush/Jeff Demps WR Julio Jones/Brandon Marshall/Ashlon Jeffery/Greg Little/Michael Floyd TE Aaron Hernandez/Jason Witten K David Akers D/ST Bears
Great team, but absolutely no depth. Hillis/Tate are going to be hard to count on as their opportunities could be inconsistent, but on any given week they could go off. If Foster or Charles go down, they will be great.
I like both teams. I'm really curious to see how Brandon Llyod does this year. Could be scary good, or be a flop.
Your first team is just missing Tito and Michael. You've got yourself the Jackson 5; reincarnated and reunited.
Yeah, I probably messed up getting Tate as my backup to MJD if MoJo holds out or starts slow because of the holdout. There is a chance Tate gets signficant carries this year, as with last year, but probably not in the first few games since Arian will be fresh. Still, I like Tate to be really productive if Arian goes down (God forbid). With Hillis I was hoping that in the few (hopefully very few) games that I need him he manages to get decent scores by robbing short yardage TDs from Charles.
Wow, you got 3 te on a 10 team league, a backup qb for tom brady: a guy on his last legs and just trying to make a team (r.moss), another guy coming back from a major injury (ap), another guy asking for a trade: mjd and holding out. I hate to infor you, but you might as well give your money to the league right now, you have NO chance. I've never said this to add other fantasy owner, but this team might be worse than the Jets offense. And that's terrible. I might take the jets offense over this team.
