you can see how Carl has adopted the SQUIRREL mo of the Obama campaign, avoid discussing issues at all cost the D&D has no debate/discussion anymore, just lame link dumps to impugn the other side assuming we take David "multiple suspension" Schuster's word for it, why tar the party with the racist brush when the person was thrown out?
speaking of racism <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>MSNBC abandons GOP convention during every speech by a minority: <a href="http://t.co/lHEugKUB" title="http://dailycaller.com/2012/08/28/msnbc-abandons-gop-convention-during-every-speech-by-a-minority/">dailycaller.com/2012/08/28/msn…</a></p>— Jim Treacher (@jtLOL) <a href="https://twitter.com/jtLOL/status/240655721153306625" data-datetime="2012-08-29T03:42:49+00:00">August 29, 2012</a></blockquote> <script src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
It's indicative of a culture within that party. They play to it to get votes and support then claim surprise when their people make outrageous comments about women, immigrants, minorities, and non-Christians. You can't have it both ways. The GOP is who we thought they were but they're not getting off the hook!
The party tars itself for embracing these people. All the birther crap, saying Obama is anti-American, saying he is only "half-black" etc etc is so obviously tied to his race and draws these folks into the fold. Simply rejecting them when they expose themselves is just a topical treatment. Fact is that Batman Jones nailed it on the head.
How dare a network cut away from speeches given by such GOP bigwigs as a former congressmen and a couple of congressional candidates? Chances are these undercard speeches are simply not important or interesting enough to carry. I mean, they did show Nikki Haley and Brian Sandoval, no? I mean, at least Daily Caller didn't b**** about these two. If it makes you feel better, it is doubtful that MSNBC showing a few token minority Republicans will have much of an impact on the election.
What makes you more angry? NBC curving the Olympics to an American audience or MSNBC cutting away from some people talking?...
What would be really sinister is if those few speakers are actually very good speakers and MSNBC is trying to keep focus on bad speakers.
The Republican party has an issue with racism and intolerance. Until the accept it, and change it, the problem will remain.
