Its cool that Hakeem played a lot of football and handball in his early years and didn't even touch basketball until he was nearly an adult. I think it was his experience in football that allowed him to have the great footwork and nimbleness required to do the Dream Shake. I bet he could humiliate the current Centers playing today even at his age.
Why should he be chasing around the Houston bigs offering to help them out? They should seek his help not the other way around.
Hakeem's ability to play well in soccer and handball translate to the NBA greatly. He has easily the best footwork in the history of NBA. The way he moves on the court that players from all over the league are flocking to Hakeem to learn even just a little bit of his great footwork and game. There are great guards in the NBA that are unable to even produce the same type of footwork Hakeem has shown in the NBA
Some dumb*** in Inside Hoops.com said this about Dwight Howard and Hakeem... Sometimes the ignorance of people makes me sick. It's funny how Dwight has to seek Hakeem's help and still not even near the shadows of Hakeem that someone would defend Howard so much.
Who ever wrote that is a dumb ass that never saw dream play. I think Jordan was the greatest player to ever play through a career but for a few years I think dream was better than Jordan making him the best player I have seen in those years. DH isn't even close to Dream.

If you read further into the thread it seems the post was meant to be a reaction to someone else's post that Lebron is better than Magic. I guess he was trying to mimic what he thought was an absurd statement from another thread. Later on the guy admits that Hakeem is a much better player than Dwight and he thinks Magic is way better than Lebron. ...basically it's a fail all around - probably the dumbest way to make a point about a completely unrelated thread and the fact that the stand he was trying to make is that Magic is vastly superior to Lebron is equally idiotic. That whole board is a complete cluster**** of morons trying to out-clever each other. It's difficult to be King of the Dummies but this guy is not giving up without putting up a fight apparently.
